This is a really spectacular and unusual dress by New York designer Jackie Rogers who is known for her sculptural evening pieces. This is a super example of her work. It is completely done in a bright, vibrant pink silk organza of the highest quality. The dress is tiered in layers of that gorgeous fabric with one tier going up and over the shoulder. This cleverly hides a structured bodice underneath that is lightly boned so you feel hugged and secure but look like a floating angel! It is completely romantic and stunning and ever so feminine. The little sleeveless mini cape is an almost oval in matching silk with two opening through which your arms slip through - sort of a combo cape, shrug and shawl. Amazing and in unworn, mint condition!
Bust: 17" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Waist: 15" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Hips: to 20" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Length: 58" from top of shoulder to bottom hem
Fully lined in hot pink silk and lightly boned through the bodice. The mini cape is unlined. The dress closes at the side with a hidden zipper and the tier at that point has hidden hook and eye the closure is hidden once on. The color is as brightly hued as shown but a truer pink hue then how it photoed - better in person!

Seriously fabulous jumpsuit by one of my favorite labels - the iconic house of Lanvin! In the late 60s and early 70s jerseys where the new miracle fabrics and Lanvin jumped on that (then) high tech wagon and began producing amazing pieces that were easy to wear and care for and looked like a million bucks on. They appealed to their younger, jet set client and still seem fresh. I have seen many a spectacular little dress but this jumpsuit has to be one of the best pieces I have yet to have! It is an amazing array of bright colors that are worked into the fabric from the top of the collar to the bottom of that fabulous hem. It zips at the front so you can choose to wear it as low as you dare. The sleeves are long and lean and the collar appropriately pointed. The original tie belt cinches in the waist and the result is one long, supermodel silhouette. I love the subtle floral pattern that runs through the base of the fabric too - a little nod to the inner wild child of the wearer. Amazing condition - appears to have never been worn.

This set is insane and insanely fabulous! It is dead stock Norma Kamali made of a light weight silk taffeta upon which is that wonderful, bold plaid design. The suit absolutely nails everything that was fabulous about the eighties. The jacket has an over-sized voluminous silhouette that tops the fabulous skinny cigarette leg pants that end just above the ankles. Huge shoulder pads sit inside each shoulder - they actually can be cleverly removed as they attach by strips of Velcro (cutting edge stuff then) so you can give this a softer more relaxed feel by wearing the jacket without the shoulder pads if you wish. The waist nips in severely, further emphasizing that wasp waist look. A fabulous peplum exaggerates the hips. The pants are sleek and skinny under all of that drama. It has never been worn and still has its original hang tag and extra button for the jacket. It is an amazing and iconic set! Unworn condition.

This is an amazing jumpsuit that at first glance appears to be a draped goddess looking maxi dress. This illusion is in part because of the extremely wide legs that the suit ends in - each is a full 50" in diameter! This allows you to have the feeling of a fabulous gown but with the ease and comfort of pants. The waist nips in and the inner bodice is a simple cut, sleeveless top. A fabulous draped caplet is attached over the shoulder. The neckline is slightly scooped at the front and has a sexy V at the back. The entire effect is that of a glamorous goddess. Perfect for traveling it is easy to pack, easy to wear and looks amazing with flats or heels. Excellent condition

A fabulous Lanvin poly knit shirt dress from the 1970s in a pretty palette of blue tones. It has that great over-sized pointed collar and button cuffs that help maintain that cool shirt feel. You just throw it on an go! The original, matching tie belt allows you to cinch in the waist as much as you want. An amazing, sculptural piece from Geoffrey Beene in the most amazing starched linen fabric with bold white top stitching! It has a definite mod chicness to it! The bodice is dipped deep in the front and it zips to close - an unusual touch. The skirt flares out in an A-line and has a gorgeous rounded front detailing - a signature touch from Beene. I love the rounded collar and how bold it is. This picks up that round front of the skirt and the big round ends of the tie bring all these elements together perfectly! . Little top stitched pockets sit just above each hip. Really a killer piece. Note that the color is a little softer brown in person with a more "textured" feel that the linen gives the fabric - the close up of the belt is closest color wise. Excellent, appears to never have been worn condition.

A very pretty and unusual late 1970s, early 1980s Lanvin dress that is as well made as one would expect from a Lanvin. The base of the dress is gorgeous - a velvet applique dotted, metallic bronze silk, with a boned bodice that is fitted almost in the manner of a 19th century corset with light boning on all seams. The skirt has a bit of fullness to it with just a hint of curving in at the hemline. A long, attached sash drapes from it's start point at back and can be wrapped a variety of ways. There is also an extra tie of black velvet which I worked into where I tied the others. You could probably come up with a dozen ways to make these ties work - huge bows, dramatic shoulder drapes, looped sides - the possibilities are endless. The shoulders with their dramatic drape and loose sexy fit are the perfect finish to this wonderful little dress. Excellent condition
The dress is fully lined in black silky rayon and closes with a side painted metal zipper. It is lightly boned through the bodice. The matching fabric sash is attached, the velvet is not. Both can be wrapped and tied as you wish.

From the Ossie Clark era at the Radley company is this great and easy to wear jersey halter dress! You can see the influence of the Ossie Clark/Celia Birtwell team in the cut and fabulous printed inserts that separate the tiers of fabric. The bodice is a simple triangle halter that ties behind the neck. This leaves the back bare. From the high floral banded waist line the skirt swoops out in tiers that get wider till them end mid-calf. The black fabric is a slinky poly jersey and each tier is separated by bands of a floral printed cotton! Can be worn with flats for the day or heels at night! Excellent condition!

An amazing and complete set of Herve Leger from the nineties that looks to have never been worn! The set is a combination of dramatic white and black. All three pieces are done in that tight, super fitted, body enhancing bandage knit that Leger was infamous for designing. The skirt is very fitted and seamed to emphasize every curve. A bandeau halter with detachable straps tops the pencil cut skirt and is cut so you can wear it strapless or as a halter. Bold striped run across its top. The jacket has the same curved seaming as the skirt and is a dramatic contrast to the bandeau with its stark black and white dot pattern! Its an amazing set that gives you lots of styling options and in mint condition!

This is a gorgeous Malcolm Starr with a spectacular print in bright blues and greens on a crisp cotton backdrop. A simple cut, sleeveless bodice has a scooped neck and a V shaped back. The waist nips in and has a spectacular band of clear beads and rhinestone heavily adorning the entire 3.5" banding that circles the waist. The skirt is quite full and the perfect balance tot he fitted top and cinched waist! This cut is very flattering and I love the crispness of the cotton against the pop of the bead work. Excellent condition and a perfect, chic summer dress. Item# DD842
I love this little blue printed Emilio Pucci cotton sun dress. It is a newer version but a definite take on the archives with its classic Pucci print. Crisp cotton is used to for this easy to wear and flattering sheath dress that skims over the body. I love the roman pleated edging on the bodice and hem. This is an amazing dress in a fine silk crepe by Teal Traina. It has that chic and refined look that Traina pieces tend to have with just a hint of sexiness. In this case that is brought into play with that amazing rhinestone detailing across the front and that same detailing is repeated across the back as well. Rhinestones of several sizes are set onto a nude netting and then this is backed by a nude fabric - It gives the illusion of having this dramatic and deeply plunging cut out that is actually completely respectable and covered when you are up close. The rest of the dress is a simple sheath with long, lean sleeves and a cut that just skims over the body and stops just above the knee. Very well constructed as one would expect.
Shoulders: 14.5" across

Fully lined in fine cream silk and it closes with a back painted metal zipper and small painted metal zippers at each cuff. Hand finished. Note that there are two pencil head sized faded smudges near the inside seam of the right sleeve. There is also a very very faint area of a yellowed discoloration on the back near the left side seam. These are very faint but the dress is reduced substantially as a result. It presents beautifully and is wearable - these are really issues seen when examined flat and under bright light.

In his heyday Oleg Cassini was known to be the Couturier of Camelot and dressed Jacqueline Kenned on many the occasion. That collaboration led to the dresses of this ilk - it is profoundly of the "Jackie O" look and feel with its perfect little box cut and ease and simplicity in design. Dresses from this time period can be deceptively simple but are cut exceedingly well so that they really give a girl a trim silhouette and have a look of lady-like refinement. I love the decorative use of buttons on this one - it gives the illusion of a crossed over dress. The slubbed silk adds texture and the color has a hint of pink - not fully conveyed here in these photos but very pretty in person. His older pieces in such excellent condition are hard to find as they where cherished and worn to pieces. This is also a great and highly wearable larger size with its original tie belt! Excellent condition

This is a fantastic little dress. It is constructed from a printed cotton that has that great crisp feel only vintage cotton seems to have. It is custom screened with a fantastic bow print - the entire dress seems to be wrapped in bows from top to bottom! It is cut to follow every curve and the simple, yet defined cut allow full focus to go on the print of the dress and the girl filling it out! Maggy Reeves was a couture designer in Canada and her pieces are as rare as rare can be. It is a delight and privilege to be able to pass on a piece of her work! This dress is extraordinarily beautiful, It is constructed entirely of silk - the bodice is a soft slinky, high grade silk and the skirt is a heavy weight luxurious silk satin. The bodice has an almost dolman sleeve and is cut fairly simple with a dramatically scooped and plunged neckline. It is all hand finished and there is a weight attached tot he inside of the front scoop so that it sits perfectly in place when on. This top inserts into a high, sculpted waist to the floor skirt. The appearance is that it is a top tucked into the skirt but it is all one piece. The pleating in the skirt is meticulously done and it is constructed of long vertical panels that sweep up to the high waist where they are seamed in like a flute that the top blossoms from. The skirt is meticulously made and has a good solid weight to it due to the high yardage. We photoed it on Vickie to show you how stunning it sits on a real girl! The gown is a superb example of high end couture workmanship and in excellent condition. Item# DD849
Great late seventies, early eighties Lapidus dress that marries the glitzy Studio 54 effect with the craze for menswear through the great velvet accented tuxedo feeling collar. The dress is made of a black silk chiffon with metallic black threading woven through the fabric in a snakeskin pattern. It is cut loose and easy and has a matching fabric belt so you can cinch in the waist The front buttons entirely open so it can be made to plunge or show as much leg as you wish. I love the contrast the matte back collar gives. Subtle yet striking and would be amazing to style - endless possibilities! Excellent condition. Item# DD850
A superb, couture level gown that uses texture, fabric and some outright bling to bring richness to the piece. The cut is kept refined and simple to off set the showiness of the front bodice and the overall result is richness and formality. The bodice is made of a luxurious plush black velvet with minimal seaming. The sleeves are each a sleek, slim sheath of black velvet. The most amazing part of the gown is of course that spectacular front detailing. Though you will at first think that dramatic thick line of glitz is rhinestones it is in fact tiny individual faceted cleat beads each strung on a thread that has a teeny bead looped through and topping each bead below. They are tightly spaced and hand applied to circle the collar and plunge straight down the front in a 2" wide column of sparkles! The skirt is a heavy matte silk satin that sweeps to the floor. There is subtle netting under the hip area to help to add and hold the shape of the skirt. It is absolutely stunning! Berin was a favorite of Pat Nixon and Ladybird Johnson and you can see why in this classic gown! Excellent condition
Fully lined in a black silk through the bodice and sleeves and white silk through the skirt. The skirt also has an attached, built in stiff nylon net tulle inner skirt that goes just past the hips to help hold the shape of the skirt. The skirt is also self-backed in a linen textured cotton. It closes with a back painted zipper. Hand finishes. The original velvet covered, leather backed belt is with the gown but not photoed. There is a Harvey Berin label inside the skirt near the hem that is not photoed. Two faint dots from rust are on the skirt one near the waist and would be covered by the belt and near the seam by the knee on the front skirt. Priced accordingly, these do not detract or mar this amazing couture quality gown

A fabulous and very wearable Moschino dress takes the idea of the little black dress to new levels. This has a definite air of the exotic to it and as expected with a Moschino piece has detailing in ways that are unexpected. The base is a silk-cotton mix with a slight polished look to it. Onto this are horizontal bands of raffia and ric rak in several different patterns and designs. I love how the textures work with each other! All around the hem are faceted black glass beads set to dangle and move. wide matte silk satin straps add the perfect finish. Excellent condition.

Oddly I just had what would have been the sister to this gown a few weeks ago - same fabric but with a slightly different bust! I absolutely love the color of this piece - it's a rich combination of a silk peach base with a swirling design of gold and silver delicately woven through the fabric. The cut is fairly simple with no sleeves and a scooped neckline. The waist nips in and the skirt is set with spaced inverted pleating so you don't get any bulk around the middle but the skirt is still allowed to widen as it reaches to the floor in one beautiful sweep. A wide sash in the same fabric is attached around the waist and a huge flat bow sits just above it. The dress has a fantastic romantic, pretty and light feel, but is still regal and beautiful. Excellent condition.

This is an amazing and rare jumpsuit from the Schiaperelli house that was most likely meant as a lounge piece. It is crazy with a huge over sized cut and wide legs! The top part is a cut like a blouse with a proper collar and front buttons. Each sleeve ends with a buttoned cuff. There is no waist to speak of - while you can certainly belt it and create a shape I sort of like it in all its loose and exaggerated glory and decided to show it just like that! Utterly fabulous and rare dated 1960 custom day outfit that looks classically 1950s from Saks Fifth Avenue. This is one of those rare cases when you can date the garment exactly as the tag is hand written with the client name, the date and it is numbered as well. The only thing it is missing is the designer that would have designed it! It is a fabulous little set. The fabric is a tightly woven high quality polished cotton. The top is classic late fifties with a fully embroidered front in a taupe threading. I love the little cuffed sleeves and the turned down collar. It nips in the waist to sit under the amazing matching skirt. The skirt is all full fifties fabulousness, The same embroidery is done in a wide panel down thew entire front and the skirt is full and charming. It attaches to the extremely nipped in waist in a series of flat knife pleats. It has attached under skirts for fullness. So classic and a wonderful and rare full set!

This is a great little polyester knit jersey lounge set from Geoffrey Beene. This would have been cutting edge fabric at the time when it was made - it was a revolution to be able to wash and wear with so little effort. What I love about this one is the amazing color and those crazy extra wide flared pants! On the right girl this will be the chicest outfit ever! The top slips on and has that groovy 1970s vibe with an elastic waist and a tie that is threaded through so you can tighten so it has drape and a bit of blousing. The collar is pointed and you can unbutton the front quite low. Each cuff buttons tightly to the wrist. The pants are flat fronted and nip into a tiny waist and then flare dramatically from there! This is the kind of dress that make instant and long lasting fans of the Prada label. It is an amazing piece in every way! The cut is pure vixen with skinny shoulder straps and a scooped neckline. It skims over the body and then at the bottom it flares out in a dramatic ruffles 10" skirting! The fabric is customs and a stunning example of how modern day pieces can still capture the beauty and quality that one finds in vintage - it is a gorgeous mix of pinks, oranges and blues all shot through with metallic thread. This dress was never worn and it's original retail was around the $2,500 mark. It is an absolute future vintage piece to scoop up now! Excellent condition

This is a fantastic little dress. It is constructed from a light silk brocade in shades of pink and red with a subtle bit of green worked through to create the feel of a lovely watercolor of flowers. A gold thread is worked through the fabric so it has a wonderful sheen to it. The skirt is not too full nor too slim, I have put a very light crinoline under it to show you the fullness it does have (not included). The top is fitted and has the prettiest rounded cap sleeves. A pretty flat bow sits daintily at the small of the back. A really lovely dress! Excellent condition. Item# E430
Rare Edith Small dress that is a beauty from the late 1940s, early 1950s and a testament to her skills as a dressmaker. Edith Small was perhaps not as well known as some of her contemporaries of the day but she produced well made pieces and used high end fabrics. This is a very wonderful example that would make a fantastic cocktail dress or evening a less formal wedding gown. It is constructed of a off-white lace that is on a net base and backed by silk crepe. Onto the lace are hundreds of hand applied paste rhinestones so the dress has a bit of glitter and glitz! The skirt is very full and cut on the bias so it actually skims over the hips and then flares out to all that wonderful fullness! The bodice is pure bombshell vixen - it has a shaped, boned halter with a deep scoop and the strap goes up and around the neck. The back is left quite bare. It is gorgeous! Excellent condition
Bust: 17" flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 11-12" flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: open
Bodice: approx 16" from top of bodice to bottom waist seam

The dress is fully lined in white silk crepe with a built in layer of tulle in the skirt. No additional crinolines where used in the photos. It closes with a side painted metal zipper that looks like a replacement but its well done and definitely still an older zipper. . Hand finishes. There are a couple f faint discolorations in the skirt here and there but due to the volume it very minor - priced accordingly. The bodice is lightly boned and all the edges are finished with an edging of netting.

I don't often list newer items but this came as part of a grouping and it is so adorable I cannot resist! It is a more current M Missoni dress and is in mint condition. It is so easy to wear too - you just slip it over your head and go! The skirt is a gorgeous screened print in a deep green silk with a pop of deep burgundy pink. The top is classic Missoni - it is a chunky knit with silver lurex thread running though it to highlight the design! Easy to wear and a gorgeous little dress! Excellent condition!

A very unusual dress in that it is constructed entirely of a pleated netting in a brilliant green color. Onto the netting is an embroidered design that really serves to highlight the dresses design. It sits off shoulder - though you could wear them up as well and has a wide, heavily embroidered collar. That same embroidery runs through the dress and gets heavier at the end of the fantastic wide sleeves and all around the bottom of the dramatic skirt. A full tulle underskirt is built in so you get lots of volume all around the bottom. It is completely lined in a nude jersey so is both comfortable to wear and makes it appear as if you are wearing netting and nothing else! A net belt cnches in the waist for maximum shape and definition to counter allthat volume! A fabulous piece and in excellent condition. Item# DD867
I love this bold, yet feminine Lilli Diamond Maxi dress! The cut, the design, that fabulous ruffled neck all work perfectly together. Constructed from a slightly starched cotton-linen mix custom screened fabric in a dramatic black and white floral design. The actual cut of this dress is actually quite simple - the sleeveless, halterneck bodice skims over the bust and then nips in at the waist. The full length skirt flares out in a full A-line. But turn around and the back has been scooped out entirely with a dramatic ruffled edged bareness. This same ruffle continues around the neck. The original tie belt cinches the waist. It's a stunner and in excellent condition! Item# DD868
A few years back there was a sale of some micro pleated Pierre Cardin pieces done for Mia Farrow in 1967. This dress is from that same time period and shows many of the same elements. Those dresses, because of their celebrity association all went for about $20,000 a piece! I love this particular version - it really embodies the late 1960s with its pleated fabric with the ruffled finish to the edges and double skirted feel and swingy cut. The bodice is cut high with a demure slightly scooped neck. From this a dramatic tightly pleated expanse of fabric swings out - there are literally yards of fabric in there all finished with tiny knife pleats. The top layer is from the shoulder while the second layer that forms the bottom skirt is attached to the inner lining. A signature twisted ruffle finish made by adding horse hair wiring to each hem gives it that identifiable Cardin touch. The sleeves are with a soft billow at each cuff. A fitted under dress in silk gives the wearer the feeling of structure! This one has it original fabric tie that you can use at the neck, as a head scarf or as a belt! An amazing piece of couture and fashion history! Truly a find and in excellent condition. Item# DD871
A very rare and wonderful Dorothy O'Hara gown in a stunning combination of silk, silk chiffon and hand worked lace and ribbon detailing. The skirt flows to the floor in two fantastic layers of silk - a taffeta underneath and miles of silk chiffon in a soft cafe au lait color over that. The effect is of lightness and floating when the wearer moves! The top is spectacular the same silk chiffon is fully appliqued with a cut work lace whose edges are all followed by silk ribbon piping stitched by hand into place! A halter of silk chiffon goes around the neck for the perfect Goddess feel finish. A superb dress from a tough to find designer! Excellent condition. Item# DD872
Made of a stunning combination of deep blues and brilliant greens on silk this Suzy Perette dress is a beauty! The front is is simple with vertical seaming so the bodice is nicely fitted to the body. The waist nips in and a bow sits just above one hip. More vertical seaming sits at the very top of the full skirt and then gently open to give the volume the skirt has. This seaming and use of the bow cleverly draws the eye into the waist and gives the illusion of an even greater nipped in waist and hourglass silhouette. I love the little capped sleeves and scooped neck. The back is scooped slightly lower then the front and gives the feeling of a barer back then what it actually is! The skirt has the perfect amount of fullness that allows you wear it with or without a crinoline and not be too overwhelmed by volume. Amazing and in excellent condition. Item# DD873
This is a fantastic little dress and a bright and colorful one as well! This is everything I love about Beene! It is meticulously made and has used the finest silk that has been beautifully screened with a gorgeous and bright print. Yet it still has that easy to wear, American sportswear feel to it. The silk used is a silk twill - think Hermes scarf in weight and feel. This type of silk really holds color superbly and this glorious, huge floral print on this confirms that! It has an inner silk bodice over which a looser fitting, more draped exterior is placed. This has a simple scooped neck ad a slit cap sleeve. It bloused gently at the waist. The skirt is soft with a touch of large pleating for fullness and balance to the top. It is cinched in at the waist. A really lovely dress and in superb condition
Bust: 17î flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 12î flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: open
Bodice: approx 16" from shoulder to waist but it drapes when worn
Skirt: 23" from waist to hem
Note that the largest blue flowers pictured are actually two tones of purple in real life. The oranges are deeper as well. If you love it in the pictures - in person it is better!
The dress is fully lined through the bodice in a tissue silk and with a silk organza through the skirt. It† closes with a back painted metal zipper with a second interior painted metal zipper on the tissue silk layer inside the bodice. Hand finishes. Note that an extra inch could be gained through the waist and an inch or more through the bust by modifying the interior silk inner bodice

This is an absolutely amazing Bessi dress and one of the best that I have had or seen! The print is spectacular - you can easily see her days at Pucci strongly influencing the design. The colors are sublime - a deep golden yellow, light olive, pops of purples and pinks all mixed together masterfully. I love the strong use of a contrasting border that defines and anchors the cut of the dress and the silk is a fantastic silk twill - Hermes scarf like in weight and feel. The bottom has a full panel added that is edged with a band of color that matches that edging on the rest of the skirt and the waist. The simple sleeveless bodice perfectly balances the skirt. This is truly a fabulous gown and in excellent condition! Item# DD875
This is an amazing three piece set that is so fabulous I am a little enamoured with it! A vibrant abstract print is screened onto a light cotton with a touch of texture to it. It has that perfect airy summer feel to it and the bright color just makes it more so! The top is simple with straps for shoulders and a basic straight tank cut. I love the detail and extra work that went into putting a row of working buttons down one side seam. The skirt is pheasant style with a ruffle tier at the bottom and cut to get wider as it reaches the hem. There is a ton of fabric in there but it still feels light and summery! The original fabric tie belt is with it - it is a bright yellow cotton and ribbed with horizontal stitching. It is fabulous and so versatile! Excellent condition

There is nothing quite as sexy as a ruffled front halter that leaves the back bare. Add to that the sleekness of black and make it a designer piece and you have an instant knock-out! Everything on this one works perfectly together. Constructed from a textured black almost linen look base the contrasting silk organza ruffled neck with its flat piped edges are perfect together. The actual cut of this dress is actually quite simple - the sleeveless, deep V fronted halterneck bodice skims over the bust and then nips in at the waist. The full length skirt flares out into the perfect cut A-line. But turn around and the back has been scooped out entirely. Two layers of black silk organza form the ruffles around the neck and they go all the way up and around the wearers neck. It's a stunner and in excellent condition!

A stunning and wonderful design from the infamous Biba is the perfect British mix of saucy, sexy and girl next door. The fabric is classic black moss crepe. It is cut in classic sixties style with a short hem that slightly flares out! The sleeves are wickedly wild - they are long and have an elastic at each cuff that sits just above a full ruffle. They are meant to pouf slightly above the wrist and then that cuff is an extravagant finish. A V neck with a bit of a collar on each side and high shoulders are the perfect finish. It is am amazing original Biba piece that is extremely collectible and infinitely wearable. A real treasure of a find and in excellent condition! Item# DD879
Absolutely one of the best Yves Saint Laurent pieces ever! This is an exceptional silk wrap gypsy skirt with the earliest Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris label. The original Saint Laurent boutique opened in Paris in 1966 and I believe this to be from about 1970 based on the style and the label. It is a spectacular skirt made of a fluid red silk. The cut is amazing - it drapes longer in the back and has a wonderful ruffled edge that cascades down the front. Two patterns are woven into the silk so you get a nice contrast between the body of the skirt and the ruffle! And it has its original matching fabric tie sash too! Excellent, appears unworn condition. Item# S339
Super rare and super chic sixties flare bottom, flower power crop top set by Nina Ricci. What I love about this one is the amazing color combination that absolutely screams jet set hippie chic and those crazy flat fronted flared pants! The top sits just above the belly button and has that groovy 1960s vibe with an attached tie at the waist and matching buttons. A simple scooped neck and long sleeves balance the exposure of the stomach. The pants are flat fronted and nip into a tiny, low waist and then flare dramatically from there! Together they are a strong statement but you can also break then up and wear them seperatly! Amazing set, very rare and in excellent condition! Item# DD883
A wonderful diaphanous and ethereal silk chiffon dress by Bill Blass that is so fresh and modern in feel that it could be easily mistaken as a piece from the spring runways! Feather light layers of beautifully screened silk are layered atop each other. Four full layers make up the body of the dress and each sleeve has two layers and yet you could probably pull the dress through a small circle like a scarf! The florals have extra depth and texture since the pattern lies atop another layer underneath. Each layer is also slightly shorter then the other so you get a pretty ruffled effect at the hem. The sleeves are long and widen as they reach their cuffs. It is really a gorgeous dress and the effect that it has when on with all that stunning silk softly moving just cannot be conveyed in the photos! Excellent condition

This is a fantastic and romantic gown and capelet set by Alfred Bosand. Made from a a beautiful pale ice blue silk net that has been embroidered with little flowers throughout. It has a high turn of the century empire goddess that has hints of ancient Greece in its cut. The fabric is gathered in a formed high bodice with little straps. The skirt cascades from there to the floor with a panel of chocolate dyed netting to anchor it. An extra layer of tulle is under the top layer and the inner skirt is a sensual feeling silk. The skirt is not too full nor too slim. A matching capelet made of netting and embroidery picks up the gown's hem and is the perfect feminine finish. A really lovely and pretty set that is also well made! Excellent condition

This is the second time I have had this fantastic little dress in the shop and I suspect it will go as quickly as the first! He does not do a ton of color so when he does it is really special and this particular shade of blue is gorgeous. This amazing and very sexy little Alaia knit dress features a loose weave ribbed knit over a nude colored inner sheath. As with all Alaia pieces this dress is cut to hug every curve! The workmanship and the fabric is the best you can get and I love the saucy, flippy little skirt that finishes the dress with a girlie ruffle. It is a classic Alaia design, reissued in this color from an earlier design he made infamous in the nineties. The interior lining makes it appear that you are just wearing a thin layer of lace - insanely sexy and perfect for hot summer nights! Excellent condition.
