1960s Print Jersey Knit Biba Skirt & Jacket Suit
The thing about a great suit is that you can wear it together and also as separates and when both pieces are as strong as this one is that gives you a lot of bang for your back. This is classic Biba with its iconic deco feeling fan print on a stretch knit jersey fabric. The jacket is meant to be loose and over sized balancing the more fitted and shorter skirt. I love the long tipped collar of the jacket and the signature Biba cut and gathers through the shoulders - it really gives it a twenties flapper feel but still in a very sixties/seventies kind of way. The skirt is fitted and has a high slit up the front center. When worn together the jacket swings over this tiny skirt and envelopes it, only allowing the glimpse of leg and bare skin when you move about. Excellent condition
Both pieces are unlined. The jacket has no closures and the skirt closes with a side set zipper. The jacket is meant to appear a larger size so sizing is based on the skirt
