- The twin of this dress walked the Spring 2016 Etro runway and was shown for Look 6 on the runway.
- It was made under the creative direction of Veronica Etro
- Vogue reported that she "delivered a sumptious medley of house staples – the kaleidoscopic prints, the rich concentration of colour, and the bohemian sensibility – in a collection that also melded European folk costume, Victorian Pre-Raphaelite nostalgia, haberdashery, Arts and Crafts, and a shot of Ballets Russes".... The softness of the sleeves were noted in particular and Vogue called it "Victoriana eminently incorporable into the cool-girl wardrobe"
- The dress is made out of a light weight, more open weave, deep ivory lace net that like its runway counterpart is unlined. Mixed between the panels of lace are panels that have been embroidered along with floral silk chiffon panels to form a beautiful pattern over the entire dress.
- The neckline is scooped and edged with the same floral silk chiffon and the shoulders are soft. It curves out into slightly puffed sleeves that come in and have a beautiful little handmade glass French cuff button at each cuff. I love this little detail.
- At the back it plunges into an extremely low cut V that leaves the back bare and exposed. You could deliberately layer this over something to highlight that V or find something for underneath that allows your full bare skin to show.
- The bodice is cut to skim over loose and easy and the waist is cut more generously and slightly dropped.
- The horizontal panels on the bodice are embroidered with beautiful flowers.
- The skirt sits under that and begins with a gathered panel of the silk chiffon that has the prettiest delicate floral print. From there it expands outwards and by the time it reaches the hem it has quite a bit of volume. The back is cut slightly longer than the front so you get a beautiful sweep and movement when you move.
- I love that the lace and floral silk chiffon are done in horizontal bands all the way down to the hem, with each band getting progressively wider around to create the volume of the skirt.
- This is an absolutely stunning dress that is easy to fit and wear. It is also beautifully light in weight.
- The dress is unlined and closes with a hidden set side zipper. It appears to have been worn very little if at all.
