Spectacular 1970s Unlabeled Silver Sequin, Metallic Thread & Faux Pearl Embellished Caftan Dress

This is a spectacular unlabeled caftan that is one of those piece that illustrates why we all fall in love with vintage. It is fantastically beautiful. The base layer is a beautiful soft silver grey silk chiffon that has just a touch of a pale green feel to it. The entire dress is densely detailed with the most amazing coverage of silver beads, silver sequins and silver metal thread. In an amongst all of that are rows of little faux pearls that give the dress a little added weight so that it falls perfectly in place once on the body. These all cover the entire dress and catch the light from every angle. To add even more glamour all of the edges of the dress are finished in wide bands of tightly spaced rows of the silver sequins and pearls. The pattern on the body of the caftan mixes wide bands of sequins with huge sequin and pearl circles and then more sequins and edged by the silver thread are scattered all in between. As good as it looks in these photos it is even better in person. The dress is extremely easy to wear. It has a v neck at the front and then is attached along the outer edges only with small slits on either side at the top to slip your arms through. This will allow it to fit a vast array of size and body types. To wear it you simply slip it over the head and go. It's one of the best and most elaborate caftans I have seen and its even better in person.  It is gorgeous. Excellent condition

Unlined and slips on to wear. I see a small area of darkening to the fabric just below the neck at the back that you see more on the inside than the out. Please see the final photo here. I see a couple of tiny areas here ask there like this on the caftan near the hem but nothing that detracts. The open cut should allow it to fit a full range of sizes
