Prettiest Unlabeled 1960s Red Pleated Chiffon Dress w Densely Beaded & Sequin Bib Collar
This gorgeous little 1960s dress is one of those things you will only ever find in vintage. It has no label and it is so fabulous. In this particular case, the dress.doesn't really need a label to justify how amazing it is. It is made out of a red chiffon that has been pleated into sharp little knife pleats. These run around the entire dress and each one is perfectly match to its neighbour. It has no sleeves and the dress simply falls from the shoulders down to the hem where it opens up to be quite full. The lightness of the fabric combined with the pleating give it a swinging bouncy f that I love. This is a dress that will move and float around you at your slightest movement. The hem has been finished with a an edge of stiffening so it gives it a slightly ruffled effect. This adds to the movement that the dress has even more. The neckline on this one is the star of the show. It is. extremely and densely embellished with a brilliant array of beads sequins and glass rhinestones in a variety of gold and colours. These have been applied with a heavy hand and create a fabulous 3D jewelled bib. It runs down in a point at the front over the shoulders and circles the back of the neck. It is like it has its own built-in jewels. Such a great dress. Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a red silk and zips to close at the back, and then the top chiffon layer buttons to close over the zipper I see a touch grubbiness along the inside of the neck and edges of the arm on the lining only. Unlabelled.

- We require three equal payments of the layaway total. You will be invoiced for the first amount upon request
- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
