I absolutely love the cut and print of this dress. It is made out of a beautiful floral printed silk gazaar that gives it just enough structure to hold the shape but still keeps it light and easy to wear despite all that volume. That fabric choice mixed with the soft billowing cut that it has gives it feeling of high drama and then the prettiest floral print ever softens it and makes it feel feminine and romantic. The bodice is gathered over you in soft vertical gathers to the seamed waist. Under that the skirt is long and full. It flows to the floor and widens out as it nears the hem. It has several yards of fabric in it and a built in underskirt. I have shown it here without any other underskirts added but you could easily add a crinoline if you wanted even more fullness. I love how the floral print is big and oversized and set to circle all the way around you. The bottom hem of the skirt in anchored with a solid green and there is a pink and green ribbon that separate the green from the floral print above. The same ribbon is used to create a belt at the waist and ties it all together. The sleeves are the final touch and they are wonderful. Each is cut to be extremely full so that they billow out above the elbow. The seam is actually up and inside the sleeve which is how it puffs out. The entire neckline is elastic so while you could wear it up and on the shoulder it is fabulous worn off the shoulders so that you leave a bare expanse of skin. The dress is just so pretty. Excellent condition with one minor note below

Fully lined in a white silk and closes with a back painted metal zipper on the lining and snaps into place over that. Each cuff and the neckline are finished with elastic. Has its original matching sash belt that snaps and hooks to close. Hand finishes. Has its original hang tag still attached. Some of the fabric seems to have darkened slightly. The backdrop white on the skirt and sleeves seem to be slightly darkened a bit then the white on the bodice. It is super even and seems deliberate so more a note for accuracy then something that effects the dress or how it looks once on. Please see the two photos after the label shot. Tagged a vintage 8
