Fantastic 1960s Emilio Pucci Green Pink Coral & Orange Abstract Print Silk Jersey Dress

Emilio Pucci is one of my favourite designers and every single dress is a work of art. His colours and prints are mixed with a masterful hand and when you get a good piece of Pucci it tends to be a piece that you can wear for a lifetime. This one is done in one of his classic abstract pattern and I love it.

The dress is made out of one of his signature lightweight silk jerseys and this was a fabric that he preferred because of the way it moved and held colour. It is screened with one of his custom prints that he has laid out onto the fabric in a very deliberate way to highlight the cut and line of these dresses. A gorgeous and classic Pucci abstract design covers the dress from head to toe in a pretty combinations of colours. The sleeves are cut to just above the wrist. The bodice is cut to skim over the bust with a wide scooped neckline. It falls over the waist and hips in an easy way that lets it skim over you to the hem. The cut and fabric allow it to not be super fitted but still highlight the body underneath. The colour mix is gorgeous. A mix of greens corals and orange make a pretty combination. One of the signatures on his pieces are those bands of a contrasting print and on this dress he ran it down each sleeve and around the cuffs and then again around the bottom hem. A double band of that print is also set to run down the full length of the back of the dress. The entire dress weighs ounces. Excellent condition with a minor note below

Unlined and closes with a back painted metal zipper. The fabric is a silk jersey and does have some stretch. I have given the comfortable measurements laying flat. I see evidence along the back, where it looks like, maybe the fabric was taken in at some point. This very slight little lines. Please see the photo after the label shot. Hand finished throughout.

Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
