Chanel 1975-76 Haute Couture Top Stiched Pink with Belt - 13.5" W

It is made out of a very fine silk gazaar that is layered over an inner silk lining in a matching colour. The colour in person has a slightly more pastel undertone but the photos are very close. All of the top stitching that creates those vertical lines has been done by hand and of course all of the inner seams are also done by hand. The waist is seamed and the dress closes down the side with a series of silk covered hidden snaps over top of an inner zipper that closes the inner lining of the dress. The inner lining is attached throughout the bodice and then extends into a built-in silk skirt that sits underneath the top pleated skirt. The pleats are closed to just pass the hip and then it opens out so the dress has incredible movement once on. It comes with its matching belt that is also top stitched by hand in the same little side-by-side rows that you see throughout the dress. The bodice has light boning at each side. It is remarkably clean and fresh. I see that one tiny mark as I have shown in the photo after the label shot. I see one tiny repair near the hem. Both are very minor. It has all its appropriate Haute Couture tags and the entire dress is completely made by hand.

Bust: to 18" flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: to 13.5" flat across from side seam to side seam
Inner hips: to 21" flat across from side seam to side seam
Total length: 57" from top of shoulder to hem with 1.5" turned under the hem
