Dreamy 1920s Unlabeled Feather Light Floral Print Silk Chiffon Dress w Jacket

This is a stunning dress made of a feather light silk chiffon that is completely cut on the bias. The fabric alone is something you will never see in today's modern fabric production. It is almost weightless and feels like nothing once on the body. If you are a collector of pieces from this time period you know what I'm talking about. The dress slips over the head and drapes into place with little snaps on one side. The silk immediately will skims over your curves as it drapes and skims down the body from bust to hips. As it nears the hem it flares out beautifully. I love the soft dreamy floral and leaf print that runs over the entire dress. The colours are muted and soft and as the print layers over itself it becomes even more beautiful. The sleeves are incredible and I shot them for you to see. They are pieced together with little angled individual pieces all around and it is so unusual and pretty. This one also comes with a light and easy jacket that is made of the same silk chiffon as the dress. It has an even more elaborate version of those incredible sleeves and it feel magical. The front dips into a V to follow the neckline of the dress underneath and then wraps around you. It snaps into place at the inner side and then there is a big exterior silk covered button on the opposite side. It also comes with a matching long silk tie belt that you can use several ways. Around the waist of the dress, over the jacket for added shape, or around the neck. And the dress is so well made that I think you could wear it either way around even. The feel of the dress changes dramatically whether you wear it on its own with just the jacket, with a belt, or with all three pieces combined. I love that about it because it just gives you more options on how you're able to wear it. This one is an absolute beauty. Excellent condition

Unlined and slips on to wear with snaps on one side. The jacket buttons to close and snaps inside the other side. Original silk tie belt included. Cut on the bias. The edges are hand rolled. For a garment almost 100 years old it is in amazing condition. I see some very tiny marks here and there but they get lost in the pattern. The bias should allow it to fit a range of sizes. These are meant fit a slight bit oversized on the body. It will just drape more on a  smaller frame

  • items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
