What a beauty! This deep deep navy blue frock is just a knock out! Made of a silk dyed midnight blue it has a pretty and flattering cut. The bodice is fitted and has a darling little side seaming detail. The skirt has a touch of fullness created by deep, soft pleats set on each side. I love the waist detail - a wide swatch of fabric has been formed to create the suggestion of a huge bow that tucks under the waist band and swoops down the front of the skirt! Extremely well made and a wonderful example of Dior! Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a blue silk organza and closes with a back painted metal zipper. The attached waist band closes with hook & eye at the back. Wonderfully constructed with hand finishes. The label is the Dior white and Black original label - a photo will be added

A stunning little early sixties dress that is a pretty combination of dots and ruffles! The skirt overlaps with a pretty curve and all the edges are finished with a soft fabric ruffle. That same ruffle is picked up on the neckline. I love the chiffon bodice with its pattern of dots worked into the fabric. It is very well made and chic! Excellent condition

This is a classic design from Ossie Clark and this version is interesting in two ways - 1st it is a vivid green color edged in a cherry red - a color mix that is far rarer Second it has the Ossie Clark couture label in it, not the Ossie Clark for Radley - this makes it an early design version that was later copied for the Radley label! I love the subtle sexiness of the suit - the "waved" front allows for a peek of skin to come through if you wish to wear it with nothing underneath. The pants have that amazing notched front to the their wide flared cut so when a girl walks you get a flash of shoe and ankle - a bit of a play on the Victorian era and a classic Ossie way of bringing in an element of the past with a genius twist to make it timeless. The pants are flat fronted and curve and skim over the hip until the flare at the bottom. The jacket is cut skinny and sexy with a bit of a flare at the hip to balance the pant. Classic Ossie at his best and an iconic design! Excellent condition!
Both piece are unlined and edged in a cherry silk satin ribbon piping finish. The top buttons to close. The pants have a back painted metal zipper at the waist with hook & eye on the waist band. The front mini pockets on the jacket are actual functional pockets. A slight touch of press marks to the seams as does happen with this fabric and a slight bit of mild piling to the fabric here and there - again a natural effect of age. Considering the rarity of color and label I do not consider these overt flaws.

This is an absolutely lovely, early 1960s classic box cut suit in an unusual and very flattering combination of a soft teal and tan. It also has its original suede belt for the skirt, hand dyed to match the teal! The skirt is a classic little A-line and the jacket a box cut with just the hint of a shape through the waist. All the buttons are original and it has lots of couture level touches - the button loops are handmade of the same fabric hand finishes inside and the lining is pieces and hand placed. Amazing and in excellent condition
Lined in pale turquoise tissue silk. Closes with buttons at the front and a painted meal zipper on the skirt. The belt is original and stamped Christian Dior. Some of the backing of the belt is going and it has some dust on the suede but overall it presents well from the front. No flaws to the exterior of the suit. There are some discoloration inside the arms but this of course does not show when on.

Insanely cool 1970s jumpsuit has full & draped harem leg bottoms. Every edge of this piece has an elastic edge so you can literally style it as you wish. Push the legs up or down, wear the sleeves higher then shown, make the waist sit high up under the bust or down low on your hips. Event he neckline has elastic so you can wear it on or off the shoulder. Its made of a chiffon so is almost weightless and feels great when worn! If you have been searching for the one of a kind jumpsuit no one else will have - you just found it!
Wonderful, early 1970s skirt and top set from one of my favorite designers - Janice Wainwright. Both pieces are constructed from a lightweight knit jersey. The top has a slightly dolman sleeve and a boat neck cut top that is all skinny arms and tapered through the waist. The fit is fantastic and it drapes beautifully! The skirt has an elastic waist and attached ties so you can style the pieces slouchy, loose and layered or cinched & fitted. I adore the color blocking - a true jet black is paired with a deep burgundy and a chocolate brown. The set is labeled with her earliest label and it is in excellent condition. A wonderfully modern feeling piece that is surprisingly fresh and fashion forward.

Waist: 14" flat across but it has elastic so will stretch quite a bit

Both pieces are unlined. The top slips over the head to wear and the skirt also slips on. Double ties are attached on either side of the skirt waist and can be left hanging, wrapped or tied as you wish. There are hidden side pockets in the skirt. The sizing is somewhat flexible

Very pretty silk floral cocktail dress by Gigi Young, which was the sister label to the Suzy Perette line. I love the big watercolor washed floral print done in a high quality silk - it is the perfect combination of greens and blues! The shape is classic wiggle and is cut to fit every curve. The bodice drapes and is hand gathered with a wide cumberbund detail at the waist. The skirt is long and lean. Very flattering and very, very pretty! Excellent condition.

Velvet Pucci's are slightly harder to come by but when you do you are always a little floored by them. It seems that the colors are richer and lusher when applied onto the velvet. This one is wonderful with its rich hues of greens and soft purples. It is cut fairly lean through the bodice and sleeves, while the skirt flares out to a long, lean A-line so that the fantastic design can be shown off to its full advantage. It has both the original Emilio Pucci labels and it's Saks Fifth Avenue labels. Instantly recognized as a Pucci, it is classic and iconic. Great condition

Bust: 17" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Bodice length: 14" from shoulder to lowest part of wait seam
Skirt length: 40" from lowest part of waist seam to bottom hem
The dress is fully lined and closes with a back painted metal zipper. Note that the zipper has lost its pull but since it is the original zipper and still is completely functional I have left it as is. There are also some small crease marks in the elbow of the sleeves that are worked into the velvet due to the skinny fit. Priced accordingly.

Delicate & feminine and romantic are the first words that come to mind when you see this dress, jacket & scarf set. All three pieces are in a feather light chiffon that has a pretty abstract print screened onto it. The dress has a delicate ruffle around the neckline that is all edged in pretty clear beads. These same beads run down the edge of the jacket and circle each wrist. The shape is simple and easy to wear - a straight dress and the jacket is so light it just flows. The matching scarf piece can be used as a belt, a head scarf or around the neck. All three pieces are in excellent condition

Scarf: 21" x 59"
The dress is fully lined and closes with a hook and eye above the keyhole at the back. The chiffon jacket and scarf are unlined. Note that the piece at the back of the dress above the key hole seems to have been added to with extra fabric at some point - probably to give more room through here. I like the way it gives that glimpse of skin and have left it as found - price adjusted accordingly.

A gorgeous and dramatic Goldworm print dress that has a fantastic Asian inspired print. A faux criss cross bodice is edged with a contrasting print which is also picked up at the waist banding. The colors on the main part of the dress are soft and there is an underlying print that runs through the back drop. The print applied onto that is bright and bold! I love the way the sleeves widen out to the cuff - again that picks up on that slightly Asian kimono-esque vibe. A really fantastic and easy to wear statement piece. Excellent condition!

Coty award winner, Michaele Vollbracht, designed under his own name for just 6 short years. This makes his designs rare and collectible. He is renowned for his self-designed prints, that he screened onto rich silks. His pieces are a pleasure both to wear and to look at. This is a caftan style maxi dress that has a backdrop of muted taupe's and olives. Onto this, bold strokes of vibrant pink and tangerines are brushed. It is signed within the print on the caftan and the belt. The original long, fabric tie belt lets you cinch in the waist if you wish or wear it loose and easy! Excellent condition.

Fantastic, sexy, absolute killer jumpsuit from the great Vicky Tiel! It is constructed from gathered silk jersey, hand placed so that it drapes perfectly when worn. The construction is perfection as well - it is lightly boned through the bodice so that it stays perfectly in place. I love that panel that drapes out form the mid-waist and through the legs - it gives the whole ensemble an exotic flare harem like feel. It is in mint condition and when paired with a killer current heel - feels wildly modern! Excellent condition
A stunning piece from the hard to find Roger Freres Paris label! It is a soft coral pink whose print is hand screened with a watercolor painting like finish. The semi-sheer cotton voile sits atop an inner lining hand dyed in the same color. There are meticulous seaming and subtle pleat details at the neck and all through the waist where the skirt is attached. It falls to mid-calf and the sleeves have been left unlined so they are lighter in feel and add a pretty romantic touch. The sleeves are cut so that the print can be shown off to full advantage. The scenic print - a stunning scene of vintage Paris - is stunningly beautiful and runs the full circumference of the skirt and sleeves. The original fabric sash is still with the dress. Excellent condition and a beautiful piece

This is a stunning set from the fabulous Emilio Pucci. It is two separate pieces which makes it very versatile since they can be worn together or be mixed and matched with other pieces. The top is a semi-sheep silk chiffon with classic Pucci designs. The cuffs, collars and edges all have contrasting print and there is a bold centerpiece print at the back! The skirt is a heavier weight silk jersey and wraps to close. The matching print runs down both the back and front. You can tuck the top in or leave out. It is fantastically Pucci and the colors are bright and true. Excellent condition.

A drop dead gorgeous Ungaro dress! It is utterly fantastic in every possible way and manages to be dramatic, sexy and classic all at once! It is superbly fitted and almost corseted all through the torso, bust and hips - over which the silk is gathered in perfect little soft drapes. The shoulders are cut high and narrow and the sleeves a bit fuller. I love the high collar and the front cut out detailing. The fabric is wonderful as well. It is 100% silk inside and out. It is very well made - even the lining is attached all the way around the hem. The kicky little three layer pleated hem line gives it a bit of a forties vibe. A really stunning piece! Excellent condition

This is a lovely and dramatic maxi dress by Paganne. I adore Paganne dresses - the prints and designs are fantastic and the fabrics they used make them super easy to wear and travel with - no wrinkle worries! This one is a fabulous combination of pinks and chocolates and has a striking, stylized Geisha girl print that runs all down the front and the back as well. I love that the base of the dress is where all the brighter pops of color has been used - it draws the eye down and allows you to look longer and leaner with the darker colors through the torso. The top portion of this one is fantastic - it's a modified halter with wide straps and an edging of design that emphasizes the overall design. Excellent condition. Item# DD385
A phenomenal little dress from the iconic Geoffrey Beene. This has one of the earliest Beene labels so would have been from a collection shortly after he opened his own house in New York in 1963 on 7th Avenue. Beene is a multiple Coty Award winner and one can easily see why when you look at the details in this wonderful dress. Still modern in feel, its stunning lines are perfectly balanced. The bodice is sleek and the neckline high, and the skirt is surprisingly full - cut much like a fifties swing skirt with lots of yardage. I love the use of the black silk taffeta to trim the sleeves, waist and hem. The taffeta detailing is perfection and is folded into tight knife pleats with couture level precision to add weight and interest. This dress is a clever blend of refinement and subtle details that are quite cutting edge. Excellent condition
Wonderful, 1980s suit from one of my favorite designers- the great Patrick Kelly. Kelly only produced collections for five short years - starting in 1985 and ending with his death in 1990. His designs were exuberant and witty - they were avant garde and he was bold through his use of color! His work has been the subject of Museums exhibits worldwide. This suit is part of a collection where this pattern was repeated though out in different colors, including this fantastic red. It is bright and vibrant and the fabric is a subtly textured cotton so that on close inspection you get an interesting play between the pattern and the fabric itself. The skirt is pencil cut with a wide waistband and side slanted front pockets. The jacket is fitted and cut to follow the body. I love the huge red glossy buttons that adorn the front and each cuff. The jacket also has front top stitched pockets. Excellent condition and appears to have never been worn.

Another iconic dress from Moschino that I just love! This one is a dramatic contrast in color with a stretch jersey black base and deep red hearts scattered over it! Every one of those hearts is done with a different method/material. Sequins, applied red rhinestones, applique, fabric ...each is unique! Amazing. The cut is super easy to wear - sleeveless, scoop neck and a basic tank silhouette. A great easy piece that combined with red shoes or accessories will leave you breaking hearts. An iconic design from Moschino! Mint condition!
I have two of these listed - identical twins of each other - with this one being a touch smaller then the other. It is a beautiful 1960s gown from Oscar De La Renta! It is shockingly light - I know it looks like it should not be with the gold - at first glance it appears to be a brocade, but the fabric is actually a really unusual textured silk organza fabric. Onto this, gold thread has been worked in to highlight the vibrant print that is custom screened onto the gown. The pattern is fantastic - blues, greens and purples flowers explode across its surface, with shots of hot pink, all done on a deep blue backdrop. The upper bodice is fitted and has a extravagant ruffled collar with the sleeves left unlined. I love how the design becomes denser as it nears the hem and on the sleeves - this cleverly draws the eye and creates a long. lean silhouette. The original wide matching fabric sash/tie belt is present and helps to define and conch on the waist. Excellent condition

What a dramatic set this is. It was most likely originally meant as a lingerie type piece but boy could it hit the town now! It's two pieces - a dress and that wild signature pleated over jacket that goes right to the floor. I have seen this done in a pattern and in solid black but never in this eye-catching romantic peachy pink. Obviously Zandra is renowned for her use of design and pattern, but this piece really allows her absolute genius for design shine through on its own. The cut of the jacket is astounding - tight knife pleats on bias cut fabric are sculpted to form that incredible back and draped shoulder. An extravagant ruffle runs down the front and it ties just under that ruffle so the line is not broken. The under dress is a sheath of pale silk with a ruffle piece at the top and bottom. Both pieces are n incredible condition - I have pieces from an estate that came form a mad collector and most were never worn - this appears not to have been! Delicious and versatile piece!
The softest palest, blush ballet slipper pink silk organza seems to float in layers of femininity on this wonderful dress. From tip to bottom the organza has been meticulously pin tucked into vertical rows that gradually widen as you near the hem of the skirt. Fine lace has been appliqued and edged with the silk cording in the same soft hue onto the bust and all around the bottom of the skirt. The bodice is sexy and gorgeous - it is a halter cut that circles the neck and hooks into place - and the halter is made from an extension of the lace applique! The edging of where the lace meets the organza is done so well ad so fine it is a thing of beauty to see all in itself! A delicate row of tiny silk covered buttons goes down the front bodice. The skirt is wonderfully full and is composed of layers and layers of fabric. It makes that wonderful rustle sound when you move. There is no way you will not feel 100% female in this dress and it would be suitable for an afternoon wedding as well as a cocktail dress. If you love it in the pictures you will be blown away when it arrives! Excellent condition.

The dress is fully lined with several layers. The bodice in a ribbed grosgrain type silk and has a built in underpinning that is lightly boned. The skirt has a second organza layer under the top applique layer and net backed cream silk layer under that. Inside of that is silk net crinoline that is attached at the waist and closes with hook and eye. The dress closes with a side painted metal zipper and the back of the halter neck closes with hidden hook & eye. Note the lace has more of a pink tone that matches the pink of the silk - it photos a deeper cream then it is in real life. The dress is a true soft blush pink

An amazing two piece set consisting of a loose fitting pheasant style top and a swingy flat pleated skirt. From the time period of his infamous Russian collection, Yves took his inspiration from the uniforms of the military and then added romantic, feminine elements - like this amazing floral print on this set - to soften them and create something entirely unique. Made of a fine, fluid wool silk challis, the drape is incredible. The top is box cut and loose with buttons at the neck that you can leave open or close completely. I love the collarless neckline and the sleeves cut with the perfect shape to ff set the draped body. The skirt is classic YSL with a fitted waist and upper hip. The pleat work is so subtle and executed so perfectly that you really notice it upon close inspection only. It flows over the hips and just past the knee. There is a matching jacket listed as well and the versatility of being able to wear these together or separate is an added bonus! Excellent, appears unworn condition

This amazing pleated linen suit is a rare example of Sybil Connolly's work and it looks to have never been worn, making it that much more collectible! It is obviously from the same collection as the skirt I have also listed and both pieces came from the same estate! (and a similar skirt is part of the permanent collection of the FDIM Museum in Los Angeles!) They recently featured the skirt on their blog and I want to share with you this excerpt from that blog entry, remarking on Sybil Connolly's techniques:
Sybil Connolly's trademark gowns required a tremendous amount of fabric. To construct one pleated evening dress required between 72 and 90 yards of unpleated Irish handkerchief linen. After undergoing a secret pleating process, this initial yardage became 7 to 10 yards of slightly irregular, narrow linen pleats. Like the early 20th century designer Mario Fortuny, Sybil Connolly was very protective of her pleating process, swearing that it was a secret she would "carry to the grave."3
In her designs, Connolly usually oriented the pleats horizontally, covering the seams with self-fabric cording. The cords also lengthen the overall line of the garment, providing a counterbalance to the horizontal pleats. As Connolly tended towards solid colors, the stiff cording also provides a necessary visual contrast to the soft linen pleats.
This suit, like the skirt I also have listed, is a stunning example of that technique. I love the piped silk stain edgings that really highlight the cut of the pieces. The workmanship and time spent to construct this is astonishing and it is a true work of art and a rare piece of fashion history. Excellent condition.

This is an unusual and wonderful Janice Wainwright dress! The outer shell of the dress is entirely done on fine silk netting upon which has been applied pinky salmon and pale yellow-green colored strips of a woven ribbon. Under this exterior is a matching dusty pink silk crepe inner dress. It is cut almost flapper style with no defined waist and a tubular body. A flirty low dropped skirt finishes the bottom. I love how the striping of the ribbon applique has been used to define the neck, hem and sleeves! The dress comes with its original wide fabric belt that I have used to cinch in the waist for these photos but you can use in dozens of ways - a scarf, belted low on the hip or as a head piece! The neckline has a ribbon looped through so you can adjust the width in quite a bot or wear it wider and expose more of the shoulder. Excellent, appears unworn, condition

Rare and fabulous set from the infamous house of Missoni! It is so hard to come across the really great Missoni pieces - collectors hoard them like treasures (which they are). This has everything you want in a Missoni set. It is young, it is fresh, it speaks of the times it was made in and yet it is still classic and timeless. Wide cropped to the knee culottes work perfectly with the matching jacket - both are done in a beautiful and classic Missoni knit chevron. The pants have hidden side pockets and drape perfectly. The way they tie is very interesting - ties attach tot he tops of each pocket that wrap around the waist! The jacket is a dream - it has ties at the waist and at the neck, which allows you to style it as you please - wear it open or closed. The knit is a nice weight - it's not heavy - you could easily wear this on a cooler summer evening and then again in the fall with fantastic boots. Really a special and quite rare set! Excellent condition!
Jacket
Shoulder: 20" flat across form seam to seam (meant to sit off shoulder)
Bust: 21" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Waist: 21" flat across the back from side seam to side seam - you can cinch it in quite a bit with the tie
Length: 22" from mid-neck at the back to bottom hem
Sleeves: 25" from shoulder to bottom of cuff
Pants
Waist: will stretch 13-16" flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: 22" flat across from side seam to side seam with give

Both pieces are unlined. The pants slip on and there is an interesting wrapped portion at the front that has ties that go around the waist. The jacket has the same ties - one at the neck and one at the waist and both can be pulled to cinch in the fabric as much or little as you like.

This set is really extraordinary. It highlights everything that Beene is known for. The exuberant use of color, the dots, the stark striped contrast and the flowing & romantic cut - it is all just perfection! It is two separate pieces even though when worn together it looks like one fluid maxi dress. Both the top and the bottom are constructed from the lightest weight, finely woven silk chiffon. Under the top layer of printed silk lies over an inner layer of nude silk chiffon. The color deepens as it nears the lower portion of the ensemble, going from a soft pale yellow at the top to a deeper hued yellow at the hem. The dots also appear to get darker as they near the hem but this is just a clever optical illusion. I love the silk satin trimmed cuffs and accents. The skirt is a masterpiece of workmanship - it is knife pleated but they flow out from the pockets at the front - each of which is scooped and rounded and sits low on the hip. The hem has a tiny bit of horse hair ribbon in its seam so it creates a delicate ruffled effect. Couture level details abound - the buttons for example are all hidden under the front satin striping but when you look close you will see that is done in the proper dressmakers way with a double layer of fabric and one single stitch between each button hole along the entire row so it lies perfectly flat when worn. I love how the stripes line up perfectly where they meet between the top and skirt too! This is really a stunning piece, rare and wildly wonderful. Excellent condition.
Top
Shoulders: 14" from seam to seam
Bust: 18" from side seam to side seam
Waist: 17" from side seam to side seam
Length: 23" from neck to hem
Sleeves: 23" from shoulder seam to longest point
Skirt
Waist: 12" from side seam to side seam
Hips: to 20" flat across from side seam to side seam
Total length: 38" from waist seam to bottom hem
Both pieces are fully lined in feather light, nude silk chiffon. Hand finished through out. Both pieces close with hidden buttons. The cuffs and very top button on the top have silk satin covered buttons to close. It is just a touch too small on the mannequin - on the proper sized girl the stripes line up even better then shown!

Wonderful and unusual printed silk Malcolm Starr has a decidedly tribal vibe that blends perfectly with its hippie chic silhouette. One can imagine this in the closet of girls like Talitha Getty or Verushka - just something they would throw on with jewels sandals and champagne glass in hand to entertain in. The silk would have had to be screened specifically for this dress as the borders of the print follow the design exactly. That means the fabric would have been pre-planned to follow the cut! The colors are amazing and crisp. This looks to have never been worn. The cut is easy to wear - a simple bodice is draped and loose. The almost empire waistline is highlighted with a silk attached belt that gives an interesting accent to the print. The skirt is utterly awe inspiring - that print is just amazing - wearable art really. Hidden side pockets and top notch construction - like the collar - it the same strip of print the belt was made of but its been cut and piece worked so it forms that brilliant curve,† The lucky girl who gets this will be very pleased indeed! It is truly a special piece and in mint condition.
A gorgeous early Pucci that is a killer mix of pastels colors all in that classic Pucci print! The dress is made from a thick, almost canvas like cotton which works to really hold that terrific tent shape while still managing to give a hint at the curves underneath. It's that classic and instantly recognizable Pucci design† - these are the most sought after as they are the equivalent of wearing art! I love love love the square neckline with its contrasting design edging and how the waist has a band in that same contrasting print. This one has a detail I have not seen on another Pucci dress like this - on each side of the skirt the bottom edging has been carried up 10" and 3 fabric covered buttons sit on either side. If you have been looking for the perfect Pucci you just found it! Exellent condition.
Gorgeous bias cut confection in pink by Lilli Diamond is the perfect dress for the season. The color is a true strong pink - it looks more raspberry here but it is indeed pink! The skirt is cut on the bias and made from feather light chiffon so it flows and drapes wonderfully. There is quite a bit of fabric in the skirt so you get a great Grecian goddess feel to it. The Goddess reference is even stronger when you get to the top - it's a one shoulder that drapes perfectly down one arm. The top is covered with a scatter of little round faux pearls that are sewn on in a tighter pattern as you near the top of the shoulder. Such a pretty finishing touch! Really wonderful piece! Excellent condition!
The thing about Treacy Lowe dresses is the fabric. She used the lightest, finest, almost impossible to work with tissue silk gauze's and sheer silk chiffons that you can possibly use before you have nothing in your hands at all. It means that a dress like this weighs a few ounces and feel like nothing else when worn. This has a definite nod to that flowing draped goddess wear so prevalent in the 70s. The dress flows out from the shoulders and then again from the elastic set waist and yards of silk drape to the ground. The sleeves are left unlined and are very wide - almost kimono like in nature. The print is hand screened and the design is a profusion of tiny perfect flowers that cover every inch. Pretty threads of gold thread through to give it a subtle shimmer. I love the contrasting edge on the bottom hem and each sleeve! The silk chiffon is the the finest Indian silk you could get at that time. Mint condition.
What a fantastic print maxi dress! Tori Richards knocks it out of the park with this phenomenal bark cloth Hawaiian dress. I love this one because it has the quirky nod to a Victorian piece with its scooped high bodice that tops an empire waist line. And those sleeves! Fitted till a few inches down from the shoulder and then the puff till they hot the elbow! I love the print - its so sixties with its mod color combination that seems surprisingly fresh now. The fabric has a great texture to it so adds a sense of depth to the print. Its a great piece to wear in the day with sandals and then pile on gold baubles and add heels for the evening! It appears to have never been worn and it is in fantastic condition!
Straight from mega bloggers Judy & Jane's closets come this fantastic and rare Valentino gown! Its early eighties and a confection of vivid color and gorgeous fabrics! The dramatic, full length silk taffeta skirt has been done in classic Valentino red. It has tons of fullness but not so much that you get heaviness and pleating when worn - just enough to hold the fullness and yet not be over powering. The bodice is a masterpiece. Screened silk is hand draped into tiny soft pleats so the entire bodice is gathered. Little stitches run in vertical rows to hold it perfectly in place. Over one shoulder a swatch of silk drapes and you can have it sit as shown, or unfold it for more fabric or roll it for less. I love that he put an underskirt whose finish is a panel of fabric that matches the bodice - you only see it when you move or sit and when you do - wow! Its in perfect condition and a real collectible!

Truly beautiful fifties cocktail dress. It's really an exceptional piece designed by Karen Stark for Harvey Berin. Impeccably constructed it is a joy to see on a real girl. The cut follows every curve and the skit is a long lean pencil shape made of black silk crepe. The waist cinches with a 4" banding. The top of this piece is really what gives it the absolute wow factor. A nude blush pink corset top sits under transparent silk chiffon in black. The bust is peaked - its really two pointed triangles that cross each other and are curved and seamed to follow your bust line. The color peaks through the black in the most provocative way. I love the bow - its the same silk satin used for the corseted inside but its center knot has been carefully covered in black silk crepe to make it all work perfectly! And don't think the back won't leave them panting after all that - it's a deep V that allows you bare skin to give a subtle sexy departure! Gorgeous and in excellent condition!

Feeling hippie chic this season? This is the ultimate nod to that look! A stunning Mr Blackwell piece this maxi dress is made of insanely fabulous fabric! A light weight cotton blend has a tie dye look over a abstract backdrop. The skirt is to the ground and there is lots of fabric in it - its flat pleated around the waist in bit exaggerated pleats which give it lots of that fantastic fabric. The bodice is simple and scooped and the sleeves billow at as they near the cuffs. It has a sort of Victorian twist to it. Along with the dress is a big shawl in a matching fabric and its adorned with a 12" macrame fringe. Judy says she chose it for its bohemian hippie vibe and I have to say I love it too! Mint condition.
Absolutely exquisite strapless bombshell pin up dress from Lilli Diamond! Its the perfect little black dress with just the right combination of glitz, sex and class. I have to confess I have actually worn this dress and gotten rave reviews! Made of that delicious silk taffeta that has that whispering rustle sound to it when ever you move, it instantly makes you feel old Hollywood glamorous. The skirt has a slight flare to it and is cut longer as was the fashion. The waist is created by vertical seaming so the line is not broken and you look impossibly tall and long. The bodice is a masterpiece with just over 2 inches of tightly sewn, glossy black sequins edging the peaked strapless bust line. Its lightly boned and shaped so if you fit it well you can probably skip the undergarments. The back is perfectly simple - just a fitted sheath of taffeta. Wonderful piece and in excellent condition.

I am in love with the dress! It's a lightweight printed cotton mix with a seersucker texture running through the design to give it an extra interesting texture. The colors are just delicious - pastels in pink, coral and yellow mixed with dove grey and cream - it makes me think of Italian sorbets on a hot summer day! The front is cut like that classic American sportswear sleeveless tank but with a deep and sexy plunging V. The skirt is just marvelous - tiers of fabric with each getting wider until it reaches the ground. Lots of movement with a pretty fresh feel. Its wonderful! A killer maxi dress and in excellent condition.

An early Donald Brooks Boutique piece is the absolute epitome of the 1960s flower power, hippie chic movement. Any of the bog name super models would have easily graced the pages of Vogue in this two piece set. The skirt is maxi length and wraps to close. The fabric is an amazing coral and multi color cotton mix with a seersucker texture striping running through it to give added dimension. The top is structured and cropped - its made to fit to perfection and show off a taut, tanned stomach. A slight scooped neckline and log sleeves with a bit of fullness offer the perfect balance. Of course its the edging of embroidered multi colored flowers that absolutely make this outfit! They adorn the waistline of the skirt, the edging of that sexy top and the cuffs and neck! I love it! Amazing concept & a definitive look of the sixties and a beautiful piece in excellent condition

Bust: approx 17" flat across the back from side to side
Waist: 14" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Skirt
Waist: 12.5" from side seam to side seam

Both the top and skirt are unlined. The top closes with a back painted metal zipper & hook and eye at the neck, while the skirt wraps to closes with snaps and hook & eye. You can prob move the fastenings in the skirt to get another inch or two if needed. The zipper on the bodice piece sticks just a touch at its start but otherwise works fine and is original so has been left.

Insanely rare and insanely fabulous Emilio Pucci for Formfit Rogers one shoulder, pointed hem piece.
