Fall 1975 Beautiful Halston Runway Flowing Deep Green Silk Chiffon w Low Back Plunge

A beautiful Halston from the Fall 1975 collection whose twin walked the runway.
Made under the creative direction of Roy Halston
This is very easy to fit dress and it has tremendous movement. It also beautifully showcases his minimalist approach to design while still getting maximum impact.
It is made out of a deep green silk chiffon that is feather light so it picks up in floats around at the slightest bit of air.
A double layer forms a cape effect that floats over the top of the bodice at the front and then curves down over the upper portion of the arm. It follows the back and goes all the way to the floor getting a little less wide as it reaches the hem.
The back is deeply plunged between each side of that elaborate ruffle to leave a bare expanse of skin showing.
The ruffle move absolutely beautifully around and behind you when you move.
It is all cut on the bias. This makes it very easy to wear and very flattering as it just drapes and skims over the body.
The body of the dress is made out of three layers of the silk chiffon so that it gives enough coverage to make it wearable.
It slips over the head with no closures. Hand finishes throughout.
There is an inner elastic waist stay that hooks to close and keeps the dress in place around you.
There is no tagged size so please go by the measurements below. The bias cut does allow it some give and I have put comfortable range when the dress is laying out flat. The length may come up some once on because of the bias cut.

Bust: 16-23" flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 13-20" flat across from side seam to side seam and the inner elastic is 11-17"
Hips: 16-23" flat across from side seam to side seam
Total length: 61.5" from top of shoulder to hem

payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
