1980s Thierry Mugler Wrap Dress with Matching Bralette
Thierry Mugler was all about sex and mixing this in with "power dressing". This little outfit sums that up just perfectly! The dress is a strong shouldered wrap dress in a pale khaki. It walks that line between utilitarian and vixen. Under it he had done a sculpted "bra" top that is deliberately shaped along the line of a 1950s style. Love the way the skirt is curved so you get a flash of leg! The metal buckled belt cinches in the waist even more and you get the distinct feeling that once that belt comes off its no holds bar! Incredible and in excellent condition.
