1960s Sculpted Mollie Parnis Maxi Dress
The photos of this Mollie Parnis are deceptive as they don't quite convey the texture of the fabric and the draping that lends itself the the sculptural feel of this design. The top is cut to be sleek and simple with no sleeves and a deep curved neckline. It is constructed from a textured, almost linen look base in a lemon yellow tone. It skims past the waist and over the hips where it opens into a fuller skirt that still manages to seem sleek and sluptural, mainly due to the large inverted pleat that runs down the front from the waist. Really a stunner! Excellent condition!
Fully lined in a yellow silky rayon and closes with a back painted metal zipper. Slight grubbiness to the bottom fold edge of the hem. This does not distract in anyway. Hidden pockets along the hip seam.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
