1960s Couture Silk Gazar Pierre Cardin
Honestly this is perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever listed. I love color and the design, color, workmanship - everything about this dress is perfect and wonderful! Its really a once in a lifetime piece! The fabric is a almost sheer finely woven silk gazar that has a hand screened, vibrant print. Its amazing! Once you get past the sheer brilliance of the color you begin to notice the workmanship that has gone into constructing this. The shape has been created by flat knife pleats that run through the upper sleeves and bodice. The insane mile wide bell sleeve and that full and beautiful skirt are created by allowing those pleats to open and the fabric allowed to go to its maximum. Each pleat is perfectly the size the the next and completely stitched into place from top to bottom in tiny, tight hidden stitches. The fabric has just a touch of starchiness to it so holds the full shape once it is released from these pleats. Really a work of art and even at the price listed it is certainly a bargain. This would have taken hours and hours and hours to plan and construct. Mint condition!

- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
