c.1976 Mac Tac Halter Tie Floral Printed Nylon Jersey Dress

The Mac Tac label was produced by a parent company called Leonard Sunshine and in terms of print and quality it is right up there with Leonard  or Pucci pieces in my book. This lovely dress is made from a beautifully printed fluid, nylon jersey that drapes and moves fabulously. It is also very easy to travel with as it is virtually wrinkle free. This is the kind of piece you can throw into a suitcase and be able to wear right away and be able to hand wash it at any time. It works from day to night depending on how you style it and what shoes you wear. The black base is the perfect backdrop for the taupe and caramel toned floral print that runs over the dress. The bust is made form two triangles of fabric that slightly cross over each other at the front and tie at the back of the neck. This leaves a large keyhole down the center front that runs right to the seam at the waist. This leaves the back bare to where it scoops down just above the waist. The skirt flares to the floor in a gentle sweep of jersey. I love how the print accents the line of the dress to full advantage. Excellent condition.

Unlined, slips on to wear and ties at the back of the neck. The fabric has some stretch. Appears to have been worn very little if at all. Tagged a vintage 8
