c.1983 Documented Mollie Parnis Silk Gown
Stunning and documented by the original sketch of this showing that it was conceived in 1983! I love that the sketch also shows that in 1983 the embellished version (that is this one) sold for a whopping $975 even then! Made of a striped silk satin chiffon it is cut on the bias and drapes over one shoulder. Each stripe is highlighted with a row of clear sequins giving the dress a subtle gleam. The shoulder has a silver sequin detailing as well!
Lined in nude jersey. Closes with a side painted metal zipper. Perhaps the occasional missing sequin but nothing that detracts.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
