1970s Colorful Silk Chiffon Flutter Dress
Gorgeous little seventies silk dress by the Holt Renfrew label that has such a pretty and fresh look! It is made of two layers of silk - a solid interior that acts as a lining to that wonderful multiple colored exterior. This dress is all flutter and lightness - the skirt is long and lean and ends in pretty asymmetrical points The bodice softly drapes and each sleeve starts at the base of the waist. The cut of the sleeves is very unusual - each is open underneath and then cuffs at each wrist- so you get the effect of a full balloon sleeve combined with almost a capelet feel. The fabric has thin lines of gold threading running through it and adding an extra dimension to the floral pattern. I love how the skirt is done so the lines are vertical and the top horizontal. Gorgeous and it weighs ounces! Excellent condition!

Bust: to 19" flat across the inside lining from side seam to side seam
Waist: stretches from 12-19" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Hips: to 24" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Bodice length: approx 16" from shoulder to waist seam, meant to drape
Skirt length: 33" from waist seam to longest point of the bottom hem
Fully lined in a pale cafe au lait silk with the sleeves left unlined. The dress has an elastic waist and slip on to wear. A keyhole and button sit at the beck neck. The original sash in matching fabric is present and in excellent condition.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
