This is the second time I have had this dress and I think I might love it even more! Halston is one of those rare labels that for whom the more time goes by it actually feels more relevant. It is easy to think of this piece as both a treasured collectible and a closet staple - knowing that every time you slip it on you will look and feel amazing. Rare and stunning this lemon yellow, silk crepe chiffon wrap Halston dress features his signature simplicity. It simply wraps and hooks into place at the waist. It has its original, wide fabric tie belt that you can use to cinch in the waist further or get creative and use it at the neck or even as a head scarf. The front crosses and plunges - there is a snap for some modesty but if you are brave you can leave this open for a full to the waist crossed plunge. Over the shoulders is a panel of fabric that creates a caped effect and under this the back is completely open. So every time you move you get that glimpse of bare skin. So sexy! The wrap also allows a flash of leg to show as one moves. Brilliantly Halston in every way and very light and easy to wear. Excellent condition.

It wraps to close and then hooks at the waist and is constructed from two layers of the crepe. There is a hidden snap at the plunge for modesty. Note that there is a teeny bit of foxing on the skirt but it lies under the wrapped portion of the front so is not seen at all when on - it is so light I could not even get a photo of it so it in no way detracts or reduces the value of the dress. Hand finishes.

Note that the inner waist hooks can be adjusted and you can probably go up or down at least an inch bigger through the waist and perhaps 1-2" down if needed.
