1960s Silk Organza Maxi Dress
This is a high end Swiss label that was carried at Holt Renfrew in the 1960 and seventies. It is very well made and the construction has lots of demi-couture derailing. The exterior fabric is a silk organza printed with a pretty floral design. This is layered over and inner lining of navy silk. The white cuffs and collar give it a sweet feel and the wide belt ]. I love the skirt - it has lots of fabric in there and the silk organza over the silk lining gives it a light an airy feel! Excellent, appears unworn condition.
Fully lined in a hand set silk. It closes with hidden snaps down the front that continue along one side of the waist. Very well made! The belt has darkened with age but it in good shape,
