1960s Emilio Pucci Pink Floral & Ribbon Print Silk Jersey Dress w Matching Silk Chiffon Scarf
I Have a Question
This is such a pretty Pucci print. It combines little flowers with a pretty twirling and curving ribbon that ties boughs of stylized leafs together. It is even prettier in its combination of pinks that have been used. Pucci chose to do the majority of his dresses in these silk jerseys because of the ease they have to wear and because the colour takes to the fabric wonderfully. Even after all of these years it is still bright and crisp. The cut of this dress is very feminine. The collar is gently scooped and cut into a low angled square across the neck. It skims over the bust and drops to a low seam just above the hips. From there the skirt falls to the floor, gently widening out just a touch as it nears the hem. A slit runs up one side of the skirt so you get a bit of leg showing as you walk. Each sleeve is cut to be full and to balloon out over its cuff. The curves and swirls of the main print are contrasted by the secondary print that borders the collar, cuffs and runs around the hem of the skirt as part of the design. At the back that same contrasting print is set in a wide panel that runs up the back of the skirt. It is simple in cut but striking because of the print and that wonderful colour combination. I love it. Excellent condition
Unlined and closes at the back with a hidden set, painted metal zipper. Each cuff closes with hidden set fabric covered snaps and they can be moved if you needed more room. Tagged a vintage Pucci 8. The fabric does have stretch. Hand finished throughout. I see a couple very faint spots that I have photoed- these are minor and get lost in the print. Please see the photos after the label shot. The scarf has hand rolled edges and is in excellent condition

I Have a Question
Emilio Pucci is one of my favorite designers and every single dress is a work of art in its own right. His colors and prints are mixed with a masterful hand and when you get a good piece of Pucci, it is a piece that you can wear for a lifetime. This one is quintessentially Pucci and is done in one of his beautiful blue color palettes. The dress is made out of his signature lightweight silk jersey, a fabric that he preferred because of the way it moved and took color. It is screened with one of his custom prints that depicts a lattice pattern that runs over the entire dress and then has leaves and vines twining around and through that lattice. The pattern runs over the long sleeves and over the bodice that skims over the bust with a scooped neckline. The neckline and cuffs are defined with a border piece of the same pattern that only has the leaves and vines. There is a detailing seam that runs just under the bust and then the waist and skirt flows from there to the floor. I love the wide band of print that runs up the back of the dress and circles the hem as well. The skirt itself is surprisingly full through the lower portion. When you are standing it falls in perfectly little rounded drapes but when you move you really get a sense of the fullness. The entire dress weighs ounces and is just wonderful to see. Excellent condition.
Unlined and closes with a back hidden, painted metal zipper. The fabric is a silk jersey and does have some stretch. Note that the color is more intense in person - better then how it photoed. Hand finished. Tagged a vintage Pucci 8

Recent 2000s Emilio Pucci Sleeveless Pink Printed Silk Jersey Dress New w Tags
I Have a Question
This is a more recent and modern interpretation of the classic Pucci dress and it is gorgeous. The print is a spin on one of his classics archival prints which gives it an amazing vintage feel. Pucci's colours and prints were mixed with a masterful hand and even when the modern day house recreates the archives looks it is a testament to his genius. This is one has been done in a happy and joyful mix of pinks. The dress is made out of a lightweight silk jersey which is a fabric that the label has long preferred using because of the way it moves and takes colour. The silk is screened with the print that you see and it runs down the entire dress and all the way around. The bodice is sleeveless and cut to skim over the bust. The front is cut into a V neckline that has an intricate geometric printed border following the V and then it curves around the waist. Under that the skirt flows to the floor and it is cut to supermodel length. The pink has been used from head to toe with pops of the white and tangerine that work beautifully with each other. The dress is wonderfully bright and happy in feel. It has its original tags and has never been worn. Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a pink silk jersey and closes with a side hidden, painted metal zipper. The fabric is a silk jersey and does have some stretch. Note that the color is more intense in person and is even better then how it photoed. Tagged a modern US4. Original hang tag attached.

This incredible bikini is one of two I have in the shop today. This one is slightly larger then the other and both are equally fabulous. These were all the rage in that 1968 time period. Anyone who was anyone had Pucci in their suitcase as they jetted off to the all hot spots on the planet. The bikini is made out of his signature cotton twill with one of his gorgeous custom designs printed over its surface. This one has a more tropical feeling print with its bright coral pinks mixed with fresh, crisp greens. The bikini top is formed and shaped with the inner cups built in. The straps have elastic running through them for comfort and it buttons to close at the back. There are two buttons there and more elastic inside at the sides so that you can get the perfect fit. The bottoms have elastic panels at each side and a fuller coverage over the bum. They are set very low on the hip to balance that extra coverage. This cut was the height of sexy for this time period and considered very daring. At the front a shaped flap of the cotton twill folds over the inner bottom and gives it that distinctive and iconic Pucci feel. These were usually worn to death and much loved and the print often ran a touch on them. This one is in overall great condition with a few small notes below.
The top has inner built in cups and the bottoms are unlined with a cotton gusset. I see no flaws on the exterior of the top. The material used for the built in cups has dried out and begun to stiffen. These could be replaced. The bottom has some very light marks on the inner gusset as shown from color run only. It is freshly cleaned. The gusset could easily be replaced or removed. This often happens with this fabric from this time period. Please review the shot after the label shot and before the reference photo. Approx a vintage Pucci 14
