1960s Beaded Silk Brocade Caftan Dress
A slubbed silk brocade has a gold thread running through it that highlights the edges of the design. Three shades of yellow ranging from a lemon to a soft pale pastel and a golden hue work prettily against each other. Its cut long and simple in an almost caftan like shape. The sleeves are also ling and simple. The simple cut and gorgeous fabric are then given a pop of glitz with an elaborate keyhole neckline whose edges are outlined in silver braiding and then adorned with pearls, rhinestones and beads. Very chic and very pretty! Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a pale yellow silky rayon. It closes with a back painted metal zipper. Each sleeve has a hidden snap.
