1940s Dorothy OHara Pin Up Silky Rayon Dress
What a beauty. Made of a bias cut, silky rayon that is that perfect early rayon fabric that feels so good and hold color and cut perfectly. The cut is pure forties pin up - it has almost dolman sleeves with no shoulder seams - the sleeves are built out from just above the waist. The waist nips in severely and then hips are cut to be curved. There is a panel of fabric that flows vertically over the hips and another that starts at the waist and goes up and into the opposite sleeve. These give the dress a real hour glass shape. A pretty yellow print covers the surface of the entire dress. Dorothy is known for her figure enhancing cuts and this beauty does just that! Excellent condition.
Unlined and closes with a back metal zipper.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
