1940s Dramatic Silk Taffeta Peplum Suit
A true femme fatale, film noir 1940s suit with the most dramatic and beautiful lines! The skirt is cut long and lean with the classic forties A-line silhouette that hugs the hips and then flares out at its hem. The jacket is an amazing feat of construction and drape. A silk taffeta in a deep glossy black is used - this fabric choice allows for a bit of structure and for the drape that the designer was after able to be achieved. The shoulders are lightly padded and round. The sleeves long and slim as the near each cuff. The bodice is cut full as was the fashion with a nipped in waist for that perfect seductive Va-Voom feel. Around the hips wraps a swag of fabric that encases the wearer and explodes into a dramatic draping along one side on the most exaggerated of forms. It is sexy and stunning! Here's how deposits work on a standard layaway:
- We require three equal payments of the layaway total. You will be invoiced for the first amount upon request
- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
