• A fabulous dress from the late 1990s
• Made under the creative direction of Gianni Versace
• The dress is very sexy with its cut out and made of a stretch fabric that hugs and shapes the body.
• The colour is a bright chartreuse that is just exceptional.
• There is light padding in each shoulder, and this holds the dress and gives it a tapered field to the waist.
• It skims over the body and then is gathered in a long, one side all the way around. The other side has been left open and is meant to drape down on the top of one hip. This leaves a bear exposed cut out on that side that wraps around to the back.
• The fabric has been gathered under the hip on that side, and then the skirt falls from narrowing down as it reaches the ham.
• There is a high slit on one side that goes right to the bottom of the gathering on the hip and there is a little quirky gathering on the opposite side to that sitting several inches above the hem.
• All of these gatherings and cut out give it a really sculptural feel around the body.
• It's fully lined in a more Matt version of the same stretch material. The fabric does have stretch so the measurement below or the comfortable range when the dress is laying flat. It has no closures and slips on to wear.

• The twin of this dress walked the runway for the Spring 1998 Versace show
• Made under the creative direction of Gianni Versace
• This is a rare in early documented example of his work
• The dresses made of two layers of silk. There is an inner silk layer that is a bright vivid pink and then this is topped with a black silk chiffon that has a touch of transparency. 
  
• Onto the top black layer is an elaborate pattern made of silver metallic thread and little tiny silver sequins. This adds a subtle sparkle over the entire dress.
• Two triangles sit at the front bust and they are brought inwards at the neck leaving an open keyhole underneath. The straps circle around both sides of your neck and then meet at the back. They then curve outwards to meet the sides of a low open scoop that leaves most of your back bare and exposed. 
  
• It skims over the waist and hips from there and I love the lingerie effect created by having the black float over the inner pink layer.
  
• The inner pink silk layer acts as the lining. The neck slips over the head and then the dress closes with a hidden set side zipper. When the dress is off the body the pink under-layer appears to extends past the bottom by a couple of inches but it is bias cit so once on it lines up as shown in the photos here

• A muted pastel salmon colour that is more pastel feeling in real life than how it photoed here
• The dress has a wide gathered band around the waist and a piece that is attached and loops in and behind one of the panels that form the top
• The panels are one piece of fabric that loops around the neck and the down to attach into the waist. You cross it over itself so that it goes behind the neck. You can then wear them high up on the shoulder or have it cape and fall over the upper arm.
• This leaves your entire back open and exposed
• The skirt has an inner piece that acts a partial lining. The outer skirt drapes over that and forms those interesting pocket like pieces on each hip. It then drapes inwards and down to the hem with a centre slit up both the front and back of the skirt
• It is a very interesting and an avant garde design
• The bodice is made of two layers of the same fabric and the skirt has a partial lining through the hips and the rest of the skirt is unlined.

This set is from Spring 2002 and it is fabulous. On the runway this print was shown throughout the first part of the show and the jacket and pant that make up the set were shown separately. I love that this gives you some styling ideas when you don't want to wear them together as the full set. The book Versace:Catwalk noted that Donatella's "graphic floral prints echoed Andy Warhol's multi huge floral paintings as did the backdrop". I love that.

This two piece set combines a beautifully cut jacket with pants that are beaded from the knee down. I always love a suit because of the ability this gives you to mix and match the pieces with things you already own. The incredible floral print give the suit this incredible rock 'n' roll feel. The jacket is tailored with a sleek cut that follows the curves of the body. It has no collar and the sleeves are long with a notch opening up each wrist. A series of tightly spaced, hidden set, hook and eye close the jacket at the front. It comes in at the waist a touch for shape and is meant to follow the curves of the body, but without being too tight. The floral print that covers the jacket is spectacular to see. The fabric of the jacket is an almost canvas feeling cotton mix with a slight texture that gives the perfect backdrop to the print. The pants are made of a super light in weight stretch fabric that lets the pants hug the body like a second skin. There is a small band at the waist that is meant to flip inwards and then nothing else to break the eye as they fall in a fairly straight boot cut to the floor. From about the knee down the floral print is covered in matching coloured beads and sequins. These catch the light terrifically as you move. It is fabulous and a great little piece of fashion history. Excellent condition

The jacket is lined in an ivory Versace logo embossed fabric and hooks to close at the front. The pants are unlined and close with a back zipper. Padding in each shoulder of the jacket. Both pieces appear to have been worn very little if at all. The pants are tagged a 42 and the jacket has no size tag present. The hips of the pants have some stretch and the comfortable range is given in the measurements below.

• This is an amazing example of his work from Fall 2006 and it is gorgeous. It is very similar to a dress that I had in the ship recently but this one is more elaborate and much longer.
• The dress was made under the creative direction of John Galliano.
• This version was made for the shops and like all of the more elaborate bead work pieces he did would have only been released in limited quantities.
• This is a really striking dress that is also very easy to wear because of its simple and bias cut. 
• The dress is made from three layers that are attached at the top of the shoulder and then float over each other from there. The inside layer is a black silk chiffon and then there is a layer of black silk chiffon that has a texture to it over that. The very top layer is that same textured silk chiffon.
• The dress has a very loose and easy cut through the body.
• The bodice has a beautiful draping neckline at the front and it does the same at the back. One shoulder is wider and a panel draped down from it to form the neck line. The other shoulder is a combination of silk chiffon with a raw lace edging. On that side, there is a tide bow at the top of the shoulder.
• The bodice on the side with the wider strap has pinned detailing that runs vertically down the dress, and the side with the more narrow strap is swept up to one side where there's a large flat bow and a bit of a ruffle created. That ruffle continues all the way to the ham so it appears that the dress has been wrapped around you and the bow is holding it all in place.
• Scattered vertically over the dress are a beautiful design that combines tiny seed beads and silver sequins topped by a tiny bead. These are all set by hand and you can see that on the back. They detail the neckline and then run in little cluster set vertically down the length of the dress.
• Many of the edges have a raw finish, which adds a delicate added texture to the dress that is very pretty.
• This side that has the ruffle feel going all the way to the ham has a split on all three layers so you get a flash of skin and it adds to the beautiful movement. The dress has. The back skirting is cut longer than the front so you get this fantastic sweeping field behind you as well. 
  
• Because this dress is all cut on the bias and is so long and easy through the body it really needs a body inside of it to bring it to life. As good as it looks in the photos here it is phenomenal in person and on the body.
• The inner silk chiffon and middle tulle layer act as the lining underneath the top layer. The innermost layer has no closures. The middle layer closes with its own hidden set zipper, and the very top layer closes with one of his signature tightly spaced rows of silk covered buttons.
• The bias cut allows for some range and movement, so I put the comfortable range in lane flat below

• The near twin of this piece in a pale pink walk the runway for Spring 2007 for Look 57.
• The dress was made under the creative direction of the original Mr. Valentino.
• This is also the twin on red of the pink dress we recently had in the shop and that one was worn by Julia Schlaepfer to the recent Amfar gala so you can see how beautiful it is on.
• Back in 2007 both Natalia Vodianova and Nicollette Sheridan also wore pink versions of the dress.
  
• It is incredibly beautiful and very light in weight. The colour is that famous Valentino red done in a silk chiffon that is draped beautifully over the dress.
• The dress is strapless and the silk is gathered horizontally over and around the bodice. The gathers extends down past the waist and to the top of the hip for a defined hourglass feel. A pretty raw edged panel of silk is attached and wraps around the waist and is tied in a bow at the side.
• The skirt is full and has beautiful movement. Long strips of the same fabric have been set all the way around the skirt to create long vertical ruffles. This creates an amazing movement when you walk.
• The dress is light in weight and absolutely beautifully made.
• Fully lined in a red silk and has an inner corset that zips on its own. Light inner boning. A hidden set side zipper closes the dress over this inner corset

• The twin of this dress walked the Spring 2002 runway for Look 94 which was the closing look of the show. 
  
• Made under the creative direction of the original Mr. Valentino.
• Sela Ward wore the twin of this dress to the Golden Globes that year and Claudia Schiffer wore it for a Valentino event that year as well giving the dress a phenomenal fashion historical provenance.
• The dress is made out of a feather light Valentino red silk taffeta that moves beautifully and you can see just how beautifully it moves in the runway video.
• The upper bodice is almost shocking even now with its bare cut. I can't imagine the impact this would have had in 2002. The entire thing ties with bows. One is set on the outer part of  each shoulder and then it has three that run down the front.
• Each shoulder has a little hidden strap underneath the bows and it is cut very wide across so that you can wear it off the shoulder. They are sitting slightly more on top of the shoulders in the photos done for you here on my dress form but you can see in the other reference photos that it can be worn right off the shoulder.
• From there panels extend and tie in bows down the front of the dress. One sits between the breasts, one at your midriff and then one is tucked into place so that it angles down slightly lower below the belly button. This leaves cut outs of bare skin exposed all the way down the front.
• It is remarkable how the dress still feels elegant and refined even with those exposed cut outs. This is the genius of the original Mr. Valentino in full display.
• From there the skirt billows out around you and has built-in tulle under skirts to help hold the volume and shape. It gets wider as it near the ground so that is is very full. The silk is set in horizontal panels that expand outwards around you as it nears the hem.
  
• The entire dress is virtually weightless with spectacular movement around you
• It is lined in a second layer of the same silk through the bodice and has an attached tulle netting under skirt. It closes with a hidden set back zipper and you can adjust the fit slightly with the bows at the front.
• There are a couple tiny areas near the seams that have been repaired or show slight stress. The fabric of the bows have wrinkles in them that seem to be there to stay. Very minor but mentioned for accuracy. I feel like the silk has softened a touch perhaps from its original crispness but  again this is very minor and mentioned for accuracy.
• There is no size tag present so please go by the measurements listed below. The bust and waist can be adjusted a bit by loosening or tightening the bows. 
• The measurements below reflect the measurements as the bows are currently tied in these photos.

• A gorgeous red Versace made under the creative direction of Donatella Versace.
• The dress is made out of a red silk mix that has a crepe like finish to it that gives it a textured finish.
• It falls from a twisted shoulder that curves up one side. On the other side a thin strap runs over the shoulder, crosses down the back, and then snaps into place along the side.
• Inside there is a full cupped and boned inner body suit corset to hold the dress in place and shape it over you.
• A panel extends out from one side of the waist and loops through a built-in loop there and snaps into place. This gives the illusion of a panel that drapes down the full front but it is all built in and attached.
• Multiple strands of chains and rhinestones extend out from where that loops sits and they cross & drape over each other to wrap around the waist and down the hip and then attach in along the back.
• It skims over the hips and flares out from there. The skirt is very full by the time it reaches the hem.
• All of that fabric conceals an extremely high slit up one side so when you walk or move you get a flash of bare leg.
• The side with the slit is cut slightly shorter and this gives you a beautiful sweeping effect around you as you move.
• Inside there is a full built-in bodysuit that snaps to close at its base and then the dress closes with a hidden side zipper.
• Tagged a vintage Versace 42.
• Excellent condition with a tiny darkening here and there near the hem.

• The dress is the twin of the dress that was presented in the Spring 2009 Lookbook for the Galliano label.
• Made under the creative direction of John Galliano.
• It is interesting to note the influence of his Cruise 2008 show for Dior in the style of the dress. It is very similar to the pale green dress shown for Look 58 in that show combined with a dash of the pale yellow dress shown for Look 57.
• The dress is made from a deep yellow silk chiffon that has a slight texture running through it.
• The bodice is gathered up on an angle that attaches into a wide chiffon strap. That strap wraps around the neck to one side and then attaches in at the back. A heavily detailed strap extends out from underneath that to the other side of the neck and then extends down the back to attach.
• The more detailed strap is covered with prong set rhinestones of various shapes and sizes along with muted silver beads in various sizes. It adds a really pretty detail to the dress.
• The waist is defined with a band in the same silk and then the skirt flows to the floor from there. There is a silk lining underneath the top chiffon and it has a very pretty movement when you move.
• Inside the dress has a full built-in white strapless corset that is cupped and lightly boned. The inner corset closes with a series of hooks at the side and then the dress closes over that with one of his signature row of tightly spaced silk covered buttons.
• There is no size tag present so please go by the measurements listed below.
• Excellent condition and appears to have never been worn.
