Amazing 1950s Woven Striped Skirt
A truly wonderful 1950s skirt that is the most amazing striped design. It looks like a piece straight off the runways and yet dates from the mid to late 1950s. Made entirely of wool that is woven to form the striping that you see. I love how they contrast top to bottom! The front pockets are built along the top line of horizontal striping and are set to slightly† extend out from the top line so you know that they are there! Just a star of a piece! Excellent condition

Unlined and closes with a side painted metal zipper and hook & eye at the waist. I chose not to photo it with a crinoline under but you could add a light crinoline and get a very full round shape. It is still very full without it as photoed!

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
