1990s Romeo Gigli 3 Piece Net Dress Set

This great little Gigli set was never worm so has a bit of a time capsule feel to it. It is made of a mesh knit that has a bit of a metallic feel to it even though it does not have metallic thread in it - it is from the fabric it is made of and this would have been cutting edge in the late 1990s. It is three pieces - the inner most piece is a tiny tank dress that just skims over the butt and gives you some sense of decency. Over that is layered a second longer tank dress. Last is a long cardigan with an interesting button detail that allows you to pull up the sides as I have shown, or if you are very slim you could even wrap and button the sides into place. I love the versatility of the three pieces and this feels so nineties that it feels fresh for now with the current 90s revival. Excellent, never worn condition

All three pieces are unlined. The inner dress and outer dress slip on. The top piece buttons to close and there are buttons under each arm along the seam with a corresponding loop along the hem. The fabric has stretch. The inner piece is tagged a S and the other two are tagged 42. Note the color in person is more of a true deep navy - it ohotoed more grey blue than it really is.
