1960s Vivid Pink Silk and Gold Braid Rainbow Caftan
This amazing 1960s silk chiffon caftan has no designer label but I strongly suspect that it once did. The workmanship is very fine and the quality high. It has a spectacular rainbow design set amongst a vivid pink and purple print on feather light silk chiffon. The cut has that draped, goddess, flowing feel to it that is so easy to wear and looks so amazing when on. I love that the inner dress is entirely separate and really gives you two caftans in one. That inner piece is an opaque raw silk in a bright pink and the same easy caftan cut. Over this a floating caftan of printed silk chiffon sits and through the fabric run gold lame thread accent. It has high slits up each side and each sleeves widens as it nears the cuff. I love the effect that the two pieces sitting over each other create with the braided edges each has. An amazing find and how can you not feel amazing wearing rainbows? Excellent condition
The inner silk caftan dress serves as the lining. It slips on to wear. It could easily be adjusted for a smaller girl or subbed out for a larger. The caftan overlay slips on and buttons down the front.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
