1960s Iconic Backless Geoffrey Beene
This piece to me completely sums up the Beene aesthetic - simple perfectly designed pieces that were highly functional and had unexpected details that made you catch your breathe. From the front this is a simple sheath of black - a superbly cut bodice is vertically seamed and flows into an A-line skirt with surprising amounts of fabric. Hidden side pockets are tucked in along the long side seams allowing the wearer to tuck in their hands. The back is a marvel, from the stark front you turn and get that sexy flash of back with a big cut out that dips low in the back and fastens at the nape of the neck. Simple but sensual, perfectly constructed and made of a good weight silk or silk blend so the line and shape remains when worn. A wonderful, statement piece in mint condition!

Here's how deposits work on a standard layaway:
- We require three equal payments of the layaway total. You will be invoiced for the first amount upon request
- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
