1960s Hand Dyed Green Beaver Coat

This is just amazing! You rarely see dyed furs that are really done well and this one is just extraordinary! I believe the fir to be beaver though the technique used with the patchwork causes lots of variations (purposely!) in the fur texture and length so its hard to nail down. It been worked into an almost diamond or chevron pattern and the effect is really amazing. The care to piece this together after carefully hand dying it this color must have taken hours and hours! It is a wonderful deep rich green and the collar is dyed a deeper green. You get striations and bits of the original brown adding depth and texture. The pelts are glossy and the coat is well cut and not horrendously heavy as some vintage furs can be. It has hidden pockets on the front and a cool chic feel to it. Exceptional in every way!

SIZE GUIDE

Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
