It's about being strong and emotional, but also saying it's OK to show your vulnerability; not having to put a brave face on it.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt is a terrifically beautiful dress and the colour in particular is just phenomenal.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe dress is made out of of a silk chiffon that has a slight texture running through it and then the chiffon is covered in huge oversized flower petals and flowers.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe choice of chiffon gives the dress enough weight to hold the shape but it feels magically light once on. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe sleeves are long and they are left unlined so that there is a touch of transparency through them. I love how they are gathered into the shoulder and are wide and full all the way down the arm. At the cuff there is a band in the same fabric and a little button. They pouf out above the wrist beautifully once on.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe shoulders are soft and the neck falls in a dramatic deep view at the front. On either side of the bust the fabric has been gathered vertically into the shoulder and then down into the front waist. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAt the back it repeats this vertical gathering into the centre of the back waist.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe waist is seamed and detailed with an attached band that circles around you and ends in a beautiful soft bow at the front with a long trailing ties running down and over the front of the skirt.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOn either side of the waist there is an open cut out and once you see them, you realize how beautifully the vertical gatherings on the front and back have been set to highlight those cut outs.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe open areas are set slightly back from the front so that they are truly at the sides. This makes them feel slightly subtle but at the same time when you do move in a way that they are exposed, that unexpected flash of bare skin is very sexy.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe skirt falls to the floor from there and has an incredible amount of silk chiffon in it. I love how the width of the skirt flares out and it is very full by the time it reaches the floor. All of those yards of fabric gives you beautiful movement when you move.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt is truly an extraordinary piece from the Sarah Burton era.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe dress is lined in a pink silk and it closes with a hidden set back zipper. Each cuff closes with a button and loop.
