This lets it drape and mold over the body but without being overly tight anywhere.

The dress is suspended from two tiny straps of the same fabric and the front dips into a V. The back also dips into a V that falls a little lower then the one at the front for a bare expanse of skin to show. From there it skims over the bust, waist and hips.

The lower portion of the skirt is spectacular. It is made from panels of silk set on angles. The panels are stitched together at spaced out points so that there are open cut outs between the panels. The lower skirt flares out fantastically for extra movement. You can see that in the video here. The back of the skirt is cut longer then the front so you get a slight sweeping feel behind you and amazing movement.

It is very much inspired by the Couture dresses of the 1920s and 1930s in its feel.

The dress is unlined and closes at the back with a hidden set zipper. There are some marks on the hem and grubbiness there and on the inside edge at the back and inner edge of the shoulder straps. The marks on the hem are darker on the inner side of the fabric but they do show slightly on the exterior as well. Please see the photos after the label shot. It is priced accordingly. The colour is slightly softer than how it photoed here.

Tagged a vintage Cavalli medium and the bias cut should allow it to fit a range of sizes.
