I personally feel like this was one of the most outstanding looks of her time at Gucci.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe look was shot for several editorials, including two covers, and worn on red carpets. I love that we have so many reference photos to be able to show how fantastic this is once on the body.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\n\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe dress combines a deep mustard silk organza with a massive silk flower detailing on one shoulder. The skirt is made out of a black silk chiffon and the inner boy shorts are silk.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eOnce of the best things about this dress is that it is the entire full set and it comes with the matching boy shorts just like the runway and a detachable silk chiffon lining that you button into or out of the skirt.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThis allows you to wear the dress with the single layer of silk chiffon and the boy shorts under it so that you get the exact look of the runway, or you can button in the inner silk chiffon layer under the skirt and choose to get a more opaque look.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eI love that this dress was sold like this (in limited production in this case) since most ultra sheer runway looks are produced with a lining in place and no option to go more sheer like it was shown on the runway. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eIt is very rare to find a full pristine set of this look with the dress, removable skirt lining, and matching boy shorts.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe top has a single wide cut shoulder with a wide floral applique detailing applied that curves aver the shoulder and into the neck. You can see how this sits on the body and the flowers nestle into the neck on the reference photos.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe centre flowers combine a matching yellow silk with a more taupe silk. The petals on this one are fairly fine. A second flower in the same colour combination but with bigger petals sits beside that. Those are surrounded with a massive amount of petals that look to be hand dipped silk organza. Each one hand cut with raw edges. It is beautiful.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe front is gathered into rows of curving panels that are stacked and layered on top of each other. Each panel has a tiny thread finish to its edge that looks to have been done by hand.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe size and the angle of the curve of the panels change as it moves over the top and as they sweep upward to surround the flowers on the shoulder. The ones directly around the flowers have been set so that they come up and off the base silk. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe back has a panel constructed in the same technique as the front and it comes out from the waist and then wraps up and over on an angle to meet the single shoulder. Another mass of flower petals sits on the top of that panel as well.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe way that the back is cut leaves an open and bare cut out. It is very unexpected and sexy when you turn around to see that bare flash of skin.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe waist nips in and it is banded around the waist. There is a lovely contrast between the colour of the top with the dark black of the skirt.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe silk chiffon of the skirt is completely cut on the bias and it is set so that it flows outwards around you. Whether you choose to wear the boy shorts under the attached single layer, or add the inner silk chiffon skirt layer, the lightness of the single or double layers catches the air with your slightest movement and float beautifully around you as you walk.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe boy shorts that come with a set are made out of of a double layer of black silk with a flat front and a more high cut as you can see in the photos.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThis is one of the most outstanding pieces from Frida's era and it is fantastically rare to have all of the pieces together as the full set.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003eThe top is lined in a matching silk organza and the attached layer of the skirt is unlined. The skirt has a second separate inner opaque black silk skirt that buttons into the sides of the inner waist that can act as a lining if you wish. It closes with a button at the waist. The boy shorts are made of two layers of opaque black silk, and have a hidden set back zipper. The dress closes with a hidden set side zipper.
