On top of that she was celebrating the life of the Eris, hostess, and patron of the avant-garde arts, Mimi Pecci-Blunt.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eDresses like this one showcase throughout the show described as \u003cem\u003e\"minimalist yet sumptuous simplicity\"\u003c\/em\u003e in the form of long, slim, semi-sheer dresses. Underwear visible, shoes flat. Vogue said she was \u003cem\u003e\"staking claim to the look she had coined at Dior.\"\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eIt was also seen on Wang Yu-wen in November of 2025.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThis dress is made from a soft interesting shade of a dusky soft pink colour that darkens or lightens depending on the way the light hits the cut velvet. The base fabric is a feather light silk chiffon and it comes with its matching silk chiffon inner slip.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe shoulders are soft and neckline is a simple scoop. It buttons to close at the back of the neck and this sits above an open slit that runs down the back.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe sleeves are incredible. Each curves out from just above the waist and then meets at a point out from the shoulder. On the top of each sleeve there is an slit opening that perfectly ties in with the slit at the back. You can see how this sits once on the body in the reference photos. This opening at the top and curving underneath also allow it to catch the air when you move for beautiful movement.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe fabric is all cut on the bias and it skims over the bust and falls over the waist in a more generous full manner. We have not added a belt and it was not shown with one but if you wanted more shape it would be easy to add one.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe dress curves outward over the hips and then widens out quite a bit by the hem. There is an immense amount of silk used in the skirt and the back is cut so that it falls longer than the front. When you move it moves beautifully around you.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe entire dress is covered in a floral design made of a matching colour cut velvet. The way that it catches the light and changes colour is quite incredible. In some lights the dress feels to be a soft taupe with some areas of the pattern darkened because of how they catch the light. In other brighter lights the dress takes on a more soft nude, earthy pink feel. It is absolutely incredible and is a nod back to the best of this type of fabric in the twenties and thirties.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe dress is unlined but comes with a matching separate slip. It has a button at the back of the neck but no other closures. It has ribbon finished interior seams and it is in its original uncut length. Pockets are hidden along each hip. The bias cut should allow it to fit a range of sizes and the comfortable range for both pieces of the set have been added below. If you needed the more room of the outer dress you could wear a larger slip underneath.
