A rare vintage Mimi di Niscemi collar. Authentic signed and dated gilt metal item features a 'sculpted' plaque and linked chain.

Born in Italy to a family of jewelers (cousin to Fulco di Verdura) Princess Mimi di Niscemi emigrated to the USA studying jewelry design and silversmithing at the Philadelphia Museum School. Princess Niscemi designed jewelry for Schiaparelli, Arnold Scaasi and Robert DeMario before starting her own jewelry company in New York City (1962). In 1968, Princess Niscemi received the Great Design in Costume Jewelry Award.

  • The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
  • items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
