This is that classic and simple black dress with great lines and subtle but brilliant details that every girls needs as that fall back dress in her closet.It is sleek and sexy and has that iconic Mugler fit that emphasizes a girls curves. The dress is constructed to drape over the body in a ling and lean line with vertical seaming to add to the sense of height and length. The bodice molds to the bust on a slight curve and the upper edge is detailed in flat strips of black velvet that extend up and over the shoulder to create that wonderful one shoulder effect. The back dips low and wide. I love how the velvet crosses over its self and ends in pointed ends on the fabric. For some reason this reminds me of barbed wire and gives the gown a more edgy feel. The rest of the dress falls to the floor in a sleek sheath of fabric with a high side slit for a flash of leg. Its a touch more subtle than some of his work but the fit and sexiness are all still there. It is very femme fatale and one can easily image this stomping down the runway in Thierry's vision of women who combined strength, sexiness and power. Excellent condition

Fully lined in a black silk, with light boning through the sides of the bodice. Closes with a back, hidden set zipper. Tagged a 42 but of course, please check actual measurements.
