1960s Unlabelled Red & Green Plaid Silk Taffeta Ruffle Skirt
This is a dramatic and bold skirt made out of a fine silk taffeta. Silk from this period was some of the finest in the world and this one is no exception. The silk has a slight sheen to it and a is covered with a bold green, red and black checked plaid pattern that is a fantastic. The waist band is fitted and the cut skims over the hips and then at the hem has a wide 10" ruffle that gives it the perfect finish. Really pretty and chic. Excellent condition
Unlined and closes with two flat hooks at the waist and a zipper. No pockets.
