1980s Emanuel Ungaro Printed Silk Wrap Top w Matching Tie
This fabulous little Ungaro top has a gorgeous design in the way that it wraps to close. The entire front of the top crosses over itself to button along the side seam with a series of tightly spaced buttons and loops. Inside it buttons into place to ensure that it sits perfectly. Along the edge of that cross over front, the fabric has been flat pleated to give a nice contrast to the elaborate print that covers the silk. The sleeves are cut in a modified version of the traditional 'Leg of Mutton' sleeve where the sleeve is very wide and full on the upper part of it and then tapers down as it nears the wrist. The top is made from a scarf weight silk that has a gorgeous print covering its entire surface. The body of the top is cut loose and easy as it falls from the padded shoulders. I love the high collar that is designed to stand up to frame the neck. This one came with a matching long silk tie in the same fabric that you can use around the neck like I have, or even as a belt to cinch in the waist. It's all drama and high eighties glamour. Excellent condition.
Unlined and buttons at the side and has one button inside. Each cuff zips to close. Strongly padded shoulders and matching silk tie. It would be an easy job to move the inner button to get the perfect fit as needed. The loose cut should fit a variety of sizes.

- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
