Vintage Renata Originals Elaborate Black Feather Hood Hat
This hat is such a statement piece and so bold. It is made of a glossy, iridescent black feathers that are all set to sweep back front he front and give it that wonderful fullness. It is almost like a hood and the effect is marvelous. It is definitely a unique and bold piece. It is entirely made by hand. It has its Milliner label - Renata Originals - in it but I have not been able to find out more about who that was or a definitive date. Its fabulous regardless and I love it.
21.5" inner circumference there seems to be a spot on the base of the hat at the back between where the two sides sweep in towards each other that has no feathers but I cant tell if this is deliberate or they have been lost. It looks deliberate as I see no evidence of feathers being there before but I wanted to mention it for accuracy.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
