Rules are meant to be broken, especially this season! When it comes to colour blocking, vibrant hues are taking centre stage. From the runway to the high street - red & pink are boldly being paired together - creating a refreshingly modern take on femininity. The marrying of related hues is what drew me to this incredible 60s Malcolm Starr dress. The screen printed pattern is loud & the cut is theatrical which is what I really love in a vintage piece. When styling the look, I chose to give it a contemporary touch by pairing it with a variety of red accessories (thanks to Zara for the red leather trousers & wonderfully unpractical fishnet socks.)  The high front slit really works with each look - whether you want to show some leg, or wear the dress as a dramatic tunic. Without a doubt, this batik cotton piece not only has a great silhouette, it's the perfect look to use to seamlessly add this on-trend colour mix into your wardrobe.

Don't forget your rose coloured glasses!
