So, let me just start this week's post by saying: I LOVE this dress. Sure, love is a strong word, but when you've found the one - you just know! When I shot this piece, it was one of those record-breaking heat waves. What you think would be a very heavy gown, was surprisingly quite the opposite. When I slipped it on- I felt like I was wearing a very sexy, breezy robe...(ahem, couture-robe!) The wrap detail with snap buttons allowed me to unleash my limbs. Of course, you don't have to have quite the severe Angelina moment as I did- but I love that you have the option to adjust.

The deep gold colour of the gown is so striking that it really requires minimal accessories, or even makeup. I love that I could throw on some mascara & my favourite Tom Ford's 'Cherry Lush' red and be ready for the party.

That to me, is the perfect dress!
