*Legenday Bruce Weber is showing two films at the Venice film festival, his 1988 film "Let's Get Lost" and thrity minutes of his latest "Nice Girls Don't Stay for Breakfast" By title alone we pick the latter as our must see.

* Supermodels are everywhere these days (did they ever really leave) and now Kirsty Hume and Erin O'Connor are the latest faces of rag & Bones DIY campaign. Still looking hot (and Kirsty's hair seems to have regained most of its old glory - you do remember when she cut it all off and effectively killed her career don't you? One of the few times a major do worked the wrong way for a girl)

* Maybe not really news but we love when  major magazine like Marie Claire takes time to dig up 40 pictures from the 1940s and give it space on their web pages. A superb glimpse of the past for our forties girls out there - this is fashion porn.

* The super model's most iconic shots are being auctioned at Christie's later this month and she was on hand to promote the announcement looking lovely in a silver suit. What would you pay for a picture of Kate? This will be an interesting one to watch! An auction of one's own picture while you are still kicking and breathing does seem to answer the question: You know you are an icon when...
