1980s Azzedine Alaia Knit Dress or Coat
Azzedine Alaia is a master of knits and this is a wonderful example of his earlier work. This has a definite eighties vibe to it, in a great kind of way and is [erfect for layering over other pieces or as a stand alone. It still has that body conscious feel to it that Alaia pieces do but in a subtler way. I love the diagonal striping across the back and how the waist is nipped in by manipulation of the knit rather then seaming. It snaps to close so can be worn as open or closed as you prefer. It will work as a dress, a layering piece or a light coat. Excellent condition

Length: 33" from mid-neck at the back to bottom hem
Unlined and it closes with the snaps down the front. It can open completely. The shoulders have light padding.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
