1970s Ossie Clark Birtwell Print Radley

This is a fabulous, beyond belief rare, silk crepe Radley from when Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell were a part of that label. You often see Ossie's designs - he would sketch and produce designs for Radley and then they would manufacture them. However you do not as often see the combination of an Ossie design with a obvious Birtwell print under the Radley label. This little sun dress is smashingly beautiful too! The crepe is an ink black with not one but two of Celia's prints - one on the top payer and one on the bottom! The mix of the trellis like design with the flowers i stunning. Its is simple and sweet - it ties at each shoulder and then cascades out in a A line shape with the top tier over the inner dress and attached bottom skirting. The skirt has an additional layer f chiffon under that. It may at one time have been full length but it is impossible to tell with Ossie's† - girls would demand them chopped and customized in the shop. My kind of girls! Mint condition.

SIZE GUIDE

Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
