The La Mendola label is highly collectible and sought after - when the duo behind the label where designing in Rome it was girls like Elizabeth Taylor and Rita Hayworth that were buying! The Italian shop closed in 1974 and this would have been from that shop. The silk jersey used is so fine and so light, it is almost miraculous. The design is as vibrant as the day it was hand screened onto this beautiful fabric and the dress exquisite. It weighs ounces and would fold into the tiniest of balls - exactly what a jet set girl of that time would have been after! I love how it covers the body completely but the fabric drapes and clings to every curve so it is still insanely sexy. The high neckline and that row of tiny silk covered buttons up the back are the final delicious touch! It is an amazing piece and in excellent condition.

payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
