1970s Jean Muir Dress w/ Flower Buttons

This deep chocolate crepe dress by Jean Muir really for me showcases what I love best about her. The cut is simple yet dramatic and the fabric choice is fabulous. The color is a deep rich chocolate. All the interest is done through her signature top stitching and slanted and angular seaming that is so reminiscent of seaming done in the thirties. Love how each sleeve tapers at the cuff. Attached tie at the neck and the most fabulous floral buttons ever!

Slips over the head and closes with a buttons at the front. Hidden pockets along each side seam. Unlined. One small repair to the front near the hem that does not detract.
