1960s Robert Morton Floral Maxi Dress

Like the other Mortan dress I have listed this is also a fantastic bright kimono inspired maxi dress. This one is a wonderful combination of green and pink florals! The fabric is so easy to wear - it is that slinky lingerie weight nylon jersey that has just enough weight so it feels good on and not cheap. This was probably originally meant as a hostess piece -that grey area between lingerie and being able t greet guests in your home - but it can absolutely be worn as a proper dress now! The skirt flares out from the high set waist in a surprisingly wide A-line so you get lots of movement. The waist nips in from a little definition just under the bust. The front has a twist in the fabric at the base of a deeply plunging front. The sleeves are fantastically crazy, with a kimono feel and are completely dramatic! They are almost a full circle at their ends. Appears to have never been worn and in excellent condition. Item# DD972

SIZE GUIDE

Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
