1960s Maggy Reeves Red Jersey Dress

This Maggy Reeves dress has a bit of a Cardin feel to it. It is cut as a sheath with no sleeves and the skirt widens slightly as it nears the hem. Made of a red jersey with a matte silk feeling fabric adorning the chest. This is cut on the curve around the neck and then ends in a rectangular shape. I love the top stitching that follows the edge of this "neck piece", it really gives it a second dimension and a bit of a mod feeling. Very chic and simple so that the color and the girl wearing it take center stage! Great condition

Fully lined in a red silky rayon and closes with a back painted metal zipper. I feel like there is the very slightest change in color to the jersey in certain lights. I have priced it to move because of this but could not capture it. It's there but not there
