1950s Mink Ruffle Sleeve Jacket
A pretty natural beige colored mink whose fur is still extremely supple and soft. The jacket is pieced together in vertical stripes set extremely close together and matched perfectly for pile and color. I love how thoroughly modern it feels - some of these 50s short jackets feel very dated and they are heavy - this one is light and supple. I especially love the sleeves - they are cut to the same length as the hem and each widens as it nears its cuff and it has a "ruffle" effect that is very pretty. They are actally a cross between a true sleeve and a cape! Perfect for over jeans or the dressiest occasion. Excellent condition - it has been stored properly and it shows!
Fully lined and has a hidden pocket set along one inside seam. Perhaps the slightest of wear along the cuffs but I am being pretty picky!Some tiny discolorations on lining but nothing major.

Shoulders: approx 15" but no true side seam
Bust: approx 16" flat across from side seam to side seam but no true side closures
Waist: 23" flat across from side seam to side seam
Length: 16" from neck to hem
