Sequin Floral Tuxedo Jacket
Dramatic tuxedo shaped black jacket gets the full-on Anita Quansah treatment with an entire panel of glass beads, floral appliqué embellished design and sequined detailing. The entire embellished panel is all hand pieced and hand done! A lace trimmed cuff, slightly padded shoulders, and vintage button fastening at front give it the finishing details!
Some of Anita's designs that where made exclusively for Shrimpton Couture, have been featured in an ediotorial that has been published in the July 2010 issue of German Vogue!

This piece features vintage materials that have been kindly restored and used by Anita Quansah London to create this one of a kind piece. Any imperfections which may have occurred through the years only adds to the individuality of this lovely jacket

Each piece in this collection is meant to depict the ever changing stages of nature, and this is achieved by using a wide range of vintage and recycled fabrics as a way of painting with texture on the fabric using hand and machine embroidery. Each piece has some form of a rose design which appears to be abstract. Just like a painting. Each piece in the collection is carefully dissected and meticulously fused together using reclaimed recycled textiles with that of the new to create textural,  innovative, colourful abstract pieces. Anita's intention is to create unusual pieces with character and depth.  Pieces that you want to touch, and perhaps question how it was put together.
