1960s Gold Malcolm Starr Dress

1960s Gold Malcolm Starr Dress

What a fantastic dress! It is completely reminiscent of all that was great about the 1960s glamour girls! Its cut in that classic A-line shape, designed to show miles of leg while the upper portion of the dress is all fitted and slightly Edwardian in design. Skinny chic fitted sleeves each end in a row of rhinestone encrusted metal buttons. The bodice is fitted and cut with skinny shoulders and a somewhat high neck and another row of buttons stream down the center bodice. The skirt flares out and the fabric is just weighty enough that it holds that fabulous A-line shape. The fabric is fantastic - raised gold threading is worked into a looped design top to bottom. It Malcolm Starr and its Mint.

Shoulders: 14" across
Sleeves: 22" long
Bust: 16-17" flat across the back from side seam to side seam
Waist : 14" flat across the back from side seam to side seam (belt will cinch it in more of course)
Hips: open
Total length: 38" from shoulder to bottom hem

The dress is fully lined and closes with a back painted metal zip. A couple of the buttons are missing the center rhinestone pieces but you can't really tell unless you really look closely due to the way the buttons are cut. The buttons are metal, not plastic. It should be dry cleaned when cleaned again in the future.
